I didn't buy it to be a holier-than-thou douchenozzle. It quite simply seemed like an awesome car when I test drove it, and I wanted the gas mileage.
Have had NO problems in 91,000 miles. Thing is spacious as hell. Put the back seats down and you can haul a lot.
I go out on dirt roads a lot, and I routinely pass big, clunky pick ups, and leave them in my dust.

Payed $6,500 for it two years ago. Runs like a top. A women I know sold it to me cause she won a new one at a casino and didn't want to pay taxes on it. Taxes came to $6,500. I pay her tax and get her old car.  |

I have just over a year to pay on my car and only have 45K on it. I am looking forward to at least a couple of years of NO CAR PAYMENTS. |

Mine is a 1st year 2004 and I think they only made them until 2006 so I will hold onto it and see if it there is a market for it a few years down the road. People are often asking me what I want for it. Not interested in selling. It's a matter of taste with sports cars but mine is in good shape and hoping it may be valuable as a collector car some day since so few were made. That's it.

During world war 2, people bought America and supported America. They bought bonds to help fund the war.. Last year we had two wars going on, yet some people didn't give a squat and still bought foreign cars.To me that's not the America I knew. |

I have a 2010 prius, same thing, for no other reason than I can fill up 2-3 times a month and pay 30 bucks each time. I'm 6' 4", and while I know I could find something a little more ideal for my size, it's pretty roomy and put the seats down in the back and you can fit a surprising amount of garbage in there. Great car. |
