Trickle down (voodoo) economics is a controversial theory advocated by mostly politicians and not economists.  According to UFE, 50 years of data show that tax cuts don't lead to growth in GDP, income and jobs.   14daroad claims tax cuts cause economic growth  but it is more likely due to natural upswings in the economy.
