230pm Red Bulls vs Philadelphia - I usually play RB home overs automatically but the match against the Fire served notice that when a team plays defensively, RB can still grind out results even if they don't make an early breakthrough. I'm anticipating the same here against Philadelphia, a team that doesn't really score that often away from home. RB struggles most against teams that play recklessly away from home (two 2-2 draws at home) but this should be a slightly comfortable home win if they get off to a good start. Red Bulls win -135

730pm Columbus vs DC - DC keeps getting overvalued as an away team, and I quite like that. Columbus are a solid home team and don't often lose, but they are susceptible to hiccups, which means no play. DC can be relied on to lose away from home to "fortress" places like Houston, NY, LA, RSL, away from that they still come worse off but they are capable of shocks here and there. If you wanna still play this one Columbus pk looks very sensible, however since I'm a coward I won't be doing this myself.

830pm Houston vs Montreal - Speaking of a fortress! This is the classic case where you see the home team covering the over themselves, and the over is at a better price than the home win, with the added benefit of having the other team's goals count in your favor as well. Over 2.5 -124

830pm Kansas City vs New England - KC are cowards. I don't care who you are, if you have the quality, you should attack and not sit back or run out the clock, this reminds me of Argentina where teams play to run out the clock first, and if a goal happens it happens. KC can win every home game they play if they want, but their low-scoring style keeps them back. It might work for them but as a bettor I absoultely hate it. They SHOULD win, but they haven't been winning at home as keeping a clean sheet is more important than scoring. It SHOULD go over as the Revs give up tons of goals away from home. But you never know how KC will want to play this time around. No play. One for the non-USA bettors to play live cause if this goes 30 minutes 0-0, thats the under. Or KC could come out with purpose and be 2-0 up in 20.

9pm Dallas vs Portland - Dallas haven't won at home in 7, Portland away in 11 dating back to last year. Pointless even thinking about this game in betting terms.

10pm LA vs Chivas - Interesting one to be sure. LA away from home, you know what you're getting. But LA at home? They don't even know what they want. Maybe  they'll pull out a nice defensive performance where they dominate from start to finish, or they'll just concede a few shock goals and it turns into a free for all. I'll take the chance they continue to be free scoring while Chivas, as defensive as they can be, have been very lucky when visiting some strong home teams (beat RSL 1-0, tied with SJ/NY 1-1) with chances after chances being missed. But don't fade a hot team scoring 3 a match and conceding 2 a match. Over 2.5 -109

10pm Salt Lake vs Colorado - Like LA/CHV, another 'rivalry match' that trends under but due to circumstances could fly over. RSL is another of those teams that dominates home games from start to finish but random defensive problems have made them an over machine at home (sound familiar, LA?)- They've kept 2 clean sheets their last 2 home games, but one of those was a low-key midweek match in a busy week where both were happy with a point (0-0 vs SEA) and one against the hapless Portland away team. I like RSL to put up 2 themselves, it's simply what they do. Question is, will the RSL defense be there and let Colorado get a result (and COL has lost a lot recently but have been held scoreless 5 out of 20 games), or will this be a rout? Over 2.5 -106

Nothing for Sunday, SJ aren't as lethal on the road as they are at home and Whitecaps love to keep it low-scoring, could go either way.

I agree 100% - both teams protect their home field very well...   Do you play any other soccer leagues or sports?
