#1 Posted: 12/19/2010 9:07:21 AM Serious question, how does Phil Ivey or any of those high stakes players online withdraw their money? do they simply ask for a check for 1 million? seriously....

#3 Posted: 12/22/2010 1:38:51 PM Ivey Lederer and Fergusan each make about 2 mill a month. Lesser guys like E-dog and the mouth make about 250-300,000 a month from the site.
1% ownership in the site is big money just ask Clowie about that. |

She lost the suit thats why I said ask her because the suit was worth millions had she won. She sued everyone affiliated with the site.
You guys would be surprised how much money these sites have to burn. Thats why they advertise so much and have so many average players on the pay-roll.

I have been saying this for a long time to anyone who would listen. Ivey is nothing special as a poker player because he does not have to be. He is filthy rich, and justifiably so, due to his Full Tilt site. Being a good Hold Em PLAYER guarantees NOTHING and just makes you one of millions to fall into that category.
Even annoying Howard Lederer is wise enough like Ivey to realize that owning a site is where the guaranteed big money is at. And I applaud them for that. |

Jerry Buss is awful, so that is no surprise. |

#14 Posted: 1/3/2011 7:02:49 PM heheheh Jerry Buss is an example of someone with too much money. Slot machines would suit him better and he probably wouldn't lose as much |

#20 Posted: 3/9/2012 10:05:55 PM Ivey has 8 brac. i think, most years ago with smaller and less schooled fields than today and has never has won a simple nl holdem event, far and away the most popular and plentyfull on the tour.
Ivey and these other so called great players(no such thing possible in poker with 50% of the game out of the players hands) make their money through ownership of fixed pokersites, endorsments and in cash games vs rich donkeys like buss and guys from the middle east and china who want to play with big names, not from any recent(last 4 years or less) poker tourneys or cash games vs other compitant players. |
