On my site, Cain started at -165. Got as low as -140. It's now up to -155, so I made my play

$155 wins $100

Haven't looked into other fights too much, but one fight I'm interested in is the Pierce fight

Line is getting a little pricey, but I'd bet Cain at anything under -160 too. I'm on @ -125 for 250 to win 200. Would suck to lose my two biggest bets of the past 4 weeks (lost on BJ), but I'm pretty confident Cain will win.

I was pretty surprised to see Cain at -165 when I checked out 5dimes today!  It's definitely the right side, but yeah it's getting pricey.

Sitting with 100 on Cain ITD at +140 that I bet awhile ago, nothing else stands out right now.

Hope we come up with some winners this weekend

I was wondering this... when was the last heavyweight title fight to go all 5 rounds??

I can't remember one offhand

This is going to be a sneaky good card, in my opinion. Too bad we have to watch it on the computer

some more thoughts:

Guida/Bendo - I will almost definitely bet Bendo. He is so dynamic and exciting and can win in any area. But the Guida factor scares me, as the dude beats oppontents with more skill than him regularly

Poirier/Garza - I'm lookin for some help on this one, but I THINK Garza is a live dog at +220

Swanson/Lamas - This should be an awesome fight

Johnson/Harvison - Once again, I'll look for some help, but I think Caly is a live dog at +220

Yamamoto/Uyenoyama - this most intriguing thing about this matchup is that both their names have intermittant vowels and consanents... I think this should be closer than -400, but I'm not really sure

Escovedo/Caceres - Escovedo has a horrible record, but Bruce Leroy is HORRIBLE!!!

Pierce/Bradley - I hate this line at -500 Pierce but i am hittin it in parlays. He just about beat Hendricks who is a top contender. I was surprised to see these two fought before and Pierce won a decision. Bradley is 5'9'' and this MAY  be his first fight at WW

semerzier/peralta - no comment

Rosa/Lucas - no comment

Might've been the horrific Timmy Silvia and Jeff Monson fight at UFC 65 in 2006. Thankfully GSP punted Hughes 20 minutes later and erased that garbage from the collective conscience.

Actually, no, It was Timmy Silvia getting trashed by Couture. Those were the last two though.

Yeah, I rembered that when Rush said that. When I was thinking of that fight earlier, I couldn't remember that goin 5. Pretty imemorable except for the couple times Randy rocked him.

The HWs are alot better now - We may not evr see a decision in a HW title fight again

THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN A HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT!!! darn AM I EXCITED!!! With all the ideas circulating on this fight, I really like Cain, and i don't think this fight goes 5, so my prediction will be Cain by TKO in the 2nd

updated card and thoughts - I really like the chargers to win SU tonight so I put them in my parlays. If they lose I will reload:

Cain -155   $155 wins $100

SD/Yamamoto(-370)/Pierce(-350)/Escovedo(-300)  $80 wins $143

SD/Pierce/Bendo(-280)  $100 wins $123

Escovedo hasn't been great but his back is against the wall. He get Bruce Leroy in his first fight at BW. Caceres has never impressed me. He was skinny at 45, so he's going to be a rail at 35. To me he just doesn't seem to have "fighter" qualities. I don't think he wants to trewad in deep waters

I'm banking on Pierce - He may not finish Bradley but he should be the better of the two

Kid Yam also has his back against the wall - one loss he may be out of the UFC

well, that was a bad start! But i kicked it at NHL, so didn't lose my behind

reloaded Bendo (250) pierce(350)  $125 wins $100

This is ROSA'S first fight at LHW - how do you think he's fair?

I will likely still hit Escovedo, Kid, Cub in a parlay or two

updated card:

Cain -155  $155 wins $100

Bendo/Pierce  $125 wins $100 (I really can't see either of these guys losing, but of course it's MMA...)

Escovedo/Poirier/Yamamoto  $80 wins $104

i had to jump on the Damaques train, and added a small parlay for him and Pierce.

I am very unconfident about my Cain bet. Even though I got a good jump on a decent line, I am worried

I have considered jumping on this line to play both sides - which if you are a JDS backer, I think is better than the +150 that is available... And that is JDS ITD at +270. I don't think this fight makes it to the cards. If it does, I think Cain is the guy to take a decision

You guys think too much...just go with your gut...Cain has more ways to win this thing, and that is especially the case if this is a longer fight...I'm guessing the people who took Cain did so becuase of his wrestling pedigree and his off-the-charts cardio...none of that has changed...if he can get through the first and much of the 2nd without getting tagged, he should be fine.  Good luck everyone!

He's going to get tagged every round
How well will he take it?

He's going to get tagged every round?  I guess I have more confidence in Cain's stand-up and mobility, especially as it relates to his kicks and ability to cover up properly, then you do...Plus, if he gets wobbled early, this things over anyway...that's Dos Santos chance...if it gets to the championship rounds, or even the third for that matter, he's enterting Cain's world.  It's really smiplistic to say if Cain can get and keep Dos Santos down, he's got this thing in the bag, but I think it applys here.  Just hours away now!

I admit I'm feeling the same way, the weigh-in kinda put some doubt in my mind!  I was starting to think JDS is the play, he's looking as cool and confident as ever, but no way I'd hedge.  I just need to see Cain do his thing for a minute or two and I'll start to feel better.

I went to check out that JDS line, haha and it's +217 ITD, and +195 TKO/KO....

Anyways GL tonight, Cain will prevail!
