He has lost 12 in a row at ATP level. Clearly he's not the mentally toughest guy going around.

this is a low as you can get in terms of not being mentally tough

Machado needed Sousa to start being a nightmare to build his confidence. Once that happened, it was lights out for Pedro. Machado is definitely the more talented player.
