#728 Posted: 3/20/2012 5:23:08 PM quick question. i apologize in advance if someone already answered this. lets say there's a 4 game chase and the home team of the 1st game is an underdog. should we count the next 3 games as a separate series as far as the system is concerned? for example, PHI is a -141 fav today (2nd game of a 4 game chase), but were a +120 dog yesterday, which is why the chase didnt start yesterday. im assuming that they can get a win against 1 of the upcoming teams (FLA, WAS, MON), but what do i know. |

#729 Posted: 3/21/2012 4:43:09 PM If the odds for Game 1 of the homestand is -145 or higher it triggers a 3 game chase, so I say NO WAY JOSE! |

#730 Posted: 3/22/2012 7:42:10 PM i was under the impression that some of us switched over to -130 as the baseline. anyway, the real question is, should we treat the remaining 3 games in the 4 game home stand as a separate chase? they won game 2 btw. |

#731 Posted: 3/24/2012 5:21:29 PM System to date: Overall Record: 51-1 (98.1%)
A games = 35-17 (67.3%)
B games = 11-6 (64.7%)
C games = 5-1 (83.3%)
losses=1
Think we should put a bow on this for the year. I generally don't recommend playing the last couple weeks of the season due to crazy stuff that can happen. All in all a very successful season, lets hope it rolls over into baseball as well

Cheers

#736 Posted: 3/29/2012 12:48:38 PM Thinking about starting a 3-game chase on PHO. They are in the middle of a 4 game home stand, game 1 was a loss against STL. Yes it's outside of this system's parameters, but remember that really we are betting on human psychology here, and I like this psychological play. PHO plays SJ tn (is favoured slightly), ANA on March 31st, and CLB on April 3rd. Surely they will win one of these games. They cannot lose all 4 games at home (including the already lost game against STL) being in 9th spot in the West and needing points to make the playoffs. They'll be playing super desperate.
Just my .02

#737 Posted: 3/29/2012 1:43:22 PM It's not a bad play at all. But what would scare me is if they lose the first two and then play Columbus the juice will be excedingly high for a C bet. |

Assuming there is a season. I doubt the strike will be settled. 82 games total in October already cancelled. |
