I just won the $1 trifecta at the Kentucky Derby. It paid $1532.

I placed the bet off shore at SBG Global.  They only paid me $500 and said they have max payouts.  I didn't know this...it isn't posted anywhere near where we place the bets. It's hidden in the other menu items. I've been with them for 11 years and never knew this.

I just screamed at them for 10 minutes and had no success getting all my winnings. The bad thing is I live 15 minutes from a race track. If I'd known I'm getting fucked out of $1032 I would have driven to the track instead of placing the bet online at SBG.

Does anyone know about this or have any solutions?

the limits are not hidden anywhere. in fact, they are very easy to find but it does say they have a max payout of $30k so I am very curious what reason they gave you for capping your payout at 500?

They say and it shows on the site 500/1 max odds. It was a $1 trifecta wheel. The bet actually cost $54.

For future betting, never bet triples or supers at offshore books, only at local OTB's or racetrack because even if you do win, some books will screw you out of your money & of course, they dont pay the full amount...........you just lost $1,000.............screw that man, its hard enough hitting a triple in a 20 horse field, you dont need these guys shaving the odds.

11 years with SBG and never knew this. Course I'm usually only betting sports, not horses. I thought i would save a trip to the track and avoid the crowd.  Wow did I learn an expensive lesson.  I'm contemplating closing my account with them.

My bet was - all/6/4,5,15

I agree ^^^.  I've used a few books, and never saw a cap/limit THAT low.  Infact, most sites list Churchill as a "class A"  or "tier A" track.   ??

Really sickening to know you skipped the track too! FCK!  Even if the traffic or crowd sucks (which we all know it will), wouldn't you much rather have the cash IN HAND when it comes to the Derby (and the monster pays)?!?     CLOSE-OUT, DAMAGE DONE!

I live in the OKC area and go to Remington Park occasionally but it's a nightmare out there on Derby day plus the casino crowd. I just didn't feel like dealing with it today. Makes me sick I didn't go make the bet in person. I've barely missed winners the last three years and have studied this race every day for a week only to win and get fucked out of 2/3rd of my winnings.

Live and learn. Go to Remington the day before. Sorry to hear this Max. The casinos in Nevada used to pull this garbage until Ronnie Hansen forced them to go Pari Mutual. They were so happy with Ronnie they tossed him off the San Mateo bridge.

Twinspires for horses. They probably laid off the action and banked the K. Sorry bro. Move on. Dont get me started on off shore books!

You got no chance reversing it, I learned this the same way you did but sportsbook max was 300 to 1. My losing argument was 500 to 1 on the $54 dollar bet is the only interpretation. Does the ticket say u placed 54 bets ? They will say its 54hard bets but to me it is one bet.

I hear you  had $25  that paid 400+ (think it was $475 )   they pay out $ 75-1 then week later $100 wp    horse won and paid $133 and $63  they pay 20-1 on win and 8-1 on place. That bet was a mistake cause I played 3 doubles at keenland  2-3  7-3 9-3 and said 100 wp on  3 horse  I meant in 8th race  and when he read my plays back I didnt catch it.  When I seen the 3 won I was cursing cause I thought I lost my double    then When I looked and seen the mistake I couldnt believe it. Then when I was told those prices I was like this is bullshit but like my friend said that made up for the double from week b4. Now if I see something paying over that I use Heritage they pay full track payouts
