#1 Posted: 4/29/2012 1:50:22 AM Just found it interesting that Brodeur has faced the Flyers twice in the postseason(03-4,09-10) and lost both those series 4 games to 1, wouldn't surprise me if this time the result would be the exact same.... i wouldn't recommend betting on the exact score of a series because of the odds but there is good value on the handicap series line at 2.3 odds where Philly has to win either in 6 games or less

#4 Posted: 4/29/2012 2:51:38 AM an article on covers home page, titled nhl playoffs on nbc, the author stated that brodeur has faced the flyers 4 times in post season going 2 and 2.although i think this series just might be the first series to be finished in the second round, you should always second guess when the teams are divisional rivals, good luck! |

#5 Posted: 4/29/2012 2:53:14 AM it is their 1st 2nd round meeting
1995 and 2000 were Conference Finals so I can see how the original poster could forget them
the other 2 were 1st round series

#6 Posted: 4/29/2012 5:26:05 AM Brodeur was good in '95/'00. He blows balls now. Philly whack 'em hard.
Jersey is 8-15 last 23 meetings, basically a 1:2 loss ratio, which = this series ends for them 2-4 at best. |

#8 Posted: 4/29/2012 12:11:52 PM I will never forget the Flyers being up 3 games to 1 in the Conference Finals and losing to New Jersey... My blood still boils when I think of that series... I want the Flyers to smash those swamp person. If the Flyers lose THIS series... I'll explode. |

Yeah Brodeur was terrible in Games 6 n 7 vs Florida. Bryzgalov is the one with a GAA of about 5 in the postseason
