#353 Posted: 1/21/2007 11:33:53 PM Nice hit Mr. Bator,
Everybody on this board trying was trying to talk you out of Indy and you stuck with your picks. Nice Job !!!
A week ago I nominated you to be the covers VP of Football but as of right now, I officially nominate you as The President of Football !!
Any second nominations out there ordaining Mr. Bator the President Of Covers Football?

as for dominate. i think i watched that dominate team vs SD last week look pretty pathetic, THEY ARE NOT DOMINATE. they are scrappy with skilled veterans thats about it. SD domintaed that game thats what the whole country watched, they also watched SD make retarded penalties to keep NE in the game.
Indy can and will beat NE this week. that i am betting on. you can love brady and the pats of old all you want but if think they're the same or better now than you're very wrong.
that miss cleo girl earned every pennie on that phone call LOL what a game !!!! |

#362 Posted: 1/22/2007 12:11:46 AM To all that contributed to the quality discussion in this thread, especially Tom and Bator, a sincere thank you! I am sure I am not the only one that will say this but I truly enjoyed reading the respectful debate from both sides. It was nice to see that this thread wasn't littered with burning money bags as most threads are when someone has a difference of opinion.
As a ameatuer capper, I was back and forth on this game. Before reading this thread a was a slight lean towards Indy but hated the spread sitting at -3. Hoping for a the line to move in my favor, I waited and waited knowing that it wasn't going happen but I was just reluctant to pull the trigger. After reading this great thread and listening to the arguements made from both sides however, I grew a little more confidence in my pick and pulled the trigger on both the Indy ML and -3 1/2.
 Congrats to all Indy backers!
Thanks to everyone who contributed on this thread!!!

#367 Posted: 1/22/2007 9:42:29 AM No bashing here.....this thread was as good as the game itself thanks to Tom & MrB. Congrats to all Indy backers...this was as sweet a cover could be for me. I thank you MrB not for swaying me as I was Indy since they beat Balt but for having strong convictions that allowed me to let go and let a lot more ride on this one than I previously would have. |
