Come on, seriously, is this any way to treat a future Hall-of-Famer?  By subjecting him to a senseless beatdown?

Morales is the one who wants the fight, he beleives that he has the boxing ability to beat maidana, I am a huge fan of morales, but I think that he is as delusional as evander holyfield, the physical strength of maidana will be way too much for morales, who seems to be fighting in slow motion lately, to me the only fight that makes sence for morales is a 4th with barrera or maybe a fight against the equally washed up casamayor.

Wow supposedly Morales felt like He had a better chance to beat Maidana then Guerrero..that's why he chose Maidana. I'll be pulling for Morales but I seriously hope he doesn't get hurt.

Maidana just hired Nacho Bernstein to train him

El Chino is going to smash this guy.  Morales will seriously get hurt.  El Chino is the best fighter @ 140.  Smoked Khan who ran the whole fight and the ref was paid off by GBP.

Please post a link to source of 'ref was paid off by GBP'.  I'm interested in this.

Did you watch the fight?  Did you not see Cortez break the action when only ONE ARM was tied up?  He did this every single round and even RJJ and Merchant commented on it during the fight.  How many times does Khan have to turn his back for him to get a point taken away?

In a rematch, Chino smokes that fraud and smokes everyone @ 140.

Can't believe this fight is actually a PPV fight! There's no way boxing in it's state right now should be showing this as a PPV. Boxing right now needs a network deal on a major US network to show some of these great matches we've seen in the last year to the public. Of course the media only wants to promote UFC sh*t right now, but boxing needs to be showcased. And not have fights like this, or Holyfield on PPV.

As for Khan/Maidana, Khan boxed circles around Maidana the enitre fight. He ran after 10 a bit, but to say he's a fraud after that brilliant performance....

Khan got a lucky body shot and still ran the ENTIRE FIGHT.  Ref didn't let inside fighting. Ref didn't take points off for turning his back to Maidana.  Khan too sissy to rematch.

This fight is a bigger joke than Mosley v Pacman, I'll take any prop with Maidana by ko decision

If maidana doesn't knock out or stop Morales thats a victory in itself. Then again Corley did make it 12 rounds no problem vs Maidana. Different styles though

Morales will fight his behind off and try to win.  I have no problem buying this PPV.  The undercard is excellent too.  Would you rather pay to see a super-important stinkbomb like Bradley/Alexander?  I'll buy Cotto/Mayorga too.

Anyone got a line guess on Morrales -Maidana? I was guessing Maidana -330 but I could be way off, just throwing a number out there

I hope Morrales doesn't come in looking like Luis Castillo in his last fight like some 70 yr old man who just needed a pay check for the sakes of surviving in life, it's a damn shame his people let him get in the ring looking the way he did

I agree with the majority of people.  Maidana is going to beat Morales up pretty badly:

Poor Morales, 34 but looks 10 years older.

I loved Morales as a fighter, heus fans everything. He was in too many wars.

He carries NO pop at this weight, he hasn't had a legit KO since he was at 126, besides Willie Limond.

I will be watching this as even at this stage Morales will STILL try harder than Victor Oritiz did against Maidana.

GUerro vs Katsidis will be great, I'm not a Guerro fan. I will be rooting(not betting) for Katsidis even though he lost his last outing he's been doing much better "boxing" wise.

My opinion regardless of how decent of a boxer Morales is(was), he cannot pull that trigger anymore, also he doesn't have the fire power to hurt Maidana, but sure he will give it his all however long it lasts.
