Spurs -11.5 (-101) to win 30 units
The Spurs had a bit of pressure coming into Game 1 after getting upset in Round 1 versus the Grizzlies. They got through that game and it wasn't easy. With two days off to prepare and the relief of getting a Game 1 win out of their way I expect them to be loose and very very focused tonight. The Spurs are a great home team and I just think they will continue to make the necessary adjustments here at home to throttle this team. The Spurs know how tough Salt Lake is and will want to ensure they go there up 2-0 not 1-1.
Clippers +6.5 (Even) to win 25 units and Clippers ML (+264) to win 20 units
The Clippers had a huge comeback to win Game 1. Now they come into Game 2 feeling much more confident that they can play well in Memphis and compete. Griffin, Jordan, Foye among others got a good taste of playoff experience after a first half of jitters. Usually I go against teams that make huge comebacks because that exerts a lot of energy. However, the Clippers used a lot of their bench in that big comeback. I expect their starters to pick up the slack tonight.
The Grizzlies shot a ridiculous 11-16 from the 3-point line and this is a team that is not good at shooting 3's so I expect that number to come down. Memphis can say what they want but I think that Game 1 loss will have them very antsy here and will put too much pressure on themselves. If things don't go real smooth I think the crowd might get on them.
