Nolan Ryan threw three pitches  A fastball, a curveball, and later on in his career, a change-up. I could be wrong but I think in 73 the Ryan Express pitched 2 no-hitters with nothing more than a fastball and curveball. You call Chapmans fastball plus plus. His fastball is the nastiest pitch on the PLANET. He has a great slider, He dominates, he intimidates that my friend = a winner. Worry about his mentality, that is BS. Chapman has been through a whole lot to get where he is at. Chapman getting hit around a bit would not faze him in the least. It would honestly shock the garbage out of me! Chapman is the REAL DEAL! I am glad to see him in a role now that can help his TEAM win.

Hes the closer now. Great job being ahead of the curve Mike !!!  I think he and Kimbrel could have the same type of carrer if hes left at a closer role.
