Baltimore will be their third quality team, that they face, all three having a solid defense in common.
Meanwhile, Baltimore's schedule alot tougher facing Pitt twice, Cincy twice, Houston twice, and SF,
Balitmore gets no respect with this line. . .I'll take the points.
Pitt. and Cincy twice a yrs. nothing new to em. As far as respect I think that went out the window when they went into Jacksonville and lost but as a Steelers fan I never respected for em in the first place

#102 Posted: 1/22/2012 1:20:29 PM AFTER CAREFUL CONSIDERATION.... (in other words hungover gut feeling).....
I am not betting this game.....
I love Baltimore in this situation.....
but being a gambler.......... I don't think it is smart on my part to be betting against Tom Brady at home......
he's argueably the best qb of all time and to go against him in his own building where he has been supernatural..... is not a smart bet.....
I feel much stronger about the 49ers and am doubling down on them.....
GL TO ALL!

#103 Posted: 1/22/2012 1:24:12 PM All are aware of NE offense. And of course their at times shaky defense. Now, the real question is which Joe Flacco will show up today. For Baltimore to have a legit chance here they MUST control the clock on offense. That means establishing a run game which they are capable of doing. Should Ravens not be able to run their offense, Brady will have the ball and will score lots of points. So, which is it? I think Belichik has this team on the gas all day. My offshore book has the line at 7. So no buying the hook that was there earlier in the week. Pats to cover the TD.... |

#107 Posted: 1/22/2012 2:04:39 PM now that the line has moved to a more realistic number,
now that the line has moved to a more realistic number,7 at my local,it's time to pull the trigger.which flacco will show up?i'm going with bradys' ability to read/pick apart the defense.although the ravens def will be looking out for the ball being thrown all over the place,N.E.i think has the edge here.i've got to go N.E./OVER in both a parlay and a teaser.i feel confident that despite N.E. having the disadvantage on defense, the offense can keep them ahead.with that being said.............luck to all.....T |

Sorry but saying New England's defense stepped up against the Broncos is a joke. Who's defense didn't look like they stepped it against Denver but if you think New England's "d" all of sudden got that good in one week simply is impossible |

#111 Posted: 1/22/2012 2:26:56 PM New England's offense will be too much for the "old" Baltimore defense to contend with. NE wins by at least 10 |

#112 Posted: 1/22/2012 2:30:00 PM i think everyone forgets... even if RAY RICE is expected to break down NEW ENGLANDS defense.....
NEW ENGLAND can still win .... they have practice to stop the run.......... denver runs on like 90% of their plays, and they run pretty good.. beat a lot of teams with a defense.
just throwing that out there since i didnt see it mentioned. |

However, the line is inflated, and I'm siding with Baltimore on the spread.
Just like I called it! How sweet it is! Congrats to the Raven line backers- and congrats to any NE M/L players. |
