#6 Posted: 12/2/2011 12:37:38 PM I see alot of folks are on Virginia Tech. I mean the way they have been playing it is hard not to take them. Something to think about though.
Clemson beat VT 23 to 3 earlier in the season. So, they at least have the confidence that they know they can beat VT.
VT has had a good season. But they haven't played anyone really. It's a good win on the road at Georgia Tech on a Thursday night, but Georgia Tech isn't that much this year. UVA just came off a tough game at Florida State. VT darn near lost to Duke. I still can't believe they are ranked as high as they are.
Clemson has got some very talented players. Losing at South Carolina shouldn't be something to be ashamed about, but you have to question what they are doing. They shouldn't have gotten beat that bad to SC or to NC State for that matter.
I remember that year when VT was favored to beat Florida State in the ACC Championship game. FSU was kind of down and going in the wrong direction and VT was the up and coming team.
This game has the same feel to it to me. I like this Logan Thomas kid and doubt he can be as idiotic as Marcus Vick was.

I just got this strange feeling that VT will come out flat or slow like they did in that FSU game years ago and will get down early. Will try and make a comeback in the 4th quarter but it will be too little too late and Clemson holds on for the win.

If you are an underqualified dumb garbage country behind redneck, and you happen to be at a game (which they all are) before they fired Bowden... then they gave you a raffle ticket, and you had a chance to win and coach (or annoy the piss out of everybody in the South) the orange and purple team???...
(they stole their idea for a mascot from Auburn, and their name for a their Stadium from LSU.Ohhhh wait they hand fucked some random rock some hick found while his wife was hunting for food, and then they run down a hill onto the field...wearing purple....and orange....)
Dumbo won , and he is doing nothing but over hyping a crap team that beat up on shitty teams in the 5th or 6th best conference, untill 2 unranked teams from their same crap conference, beat the hell out of them. If you saw the UNC game, chapel hill kept forcing them to 3rd and long, and Dumbo and his Offense didnt know what to do half the time. then they played a real D in SC and they got THROTTLED, bc they really arent that good, were over rated, were a 2 man team, and didnt know what to do when Boyd actually had pressure in his face,.. what a joke .
clemson has no balls , they are a bunch of women wearing purple and orange...isnt that what woman wear?
THis is a totally different Va Tech team. Beamer in prime time, will out coach the entire staff put together.

THE POINT IS: HEY PURPLE AND ORANGE COACH...WHY ARE YOU EVEN WORRIED ABOUT SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED LAST WEEK. YOU ARE PLAYING IN THE ACC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME THIS WEEK. THAT SHOULD BE YOUR ONLY FOCUS...not about hear say comments.
again, if you have followed any of my posts about Dumbo, here is yet another example of why he should not be a head coach of any team...men or women.
he is like an emotional pregnant woman going through the "nesting stage."
 Va tech will win. they are a completley different, much more cohesive & MATURE team vs when the lost in the begining season. They are a better team with a very talented, professional, smart coach, and his experience in these big games will be the difference.
clemson has been exposed as well as their coach...AND YOU DUMPED TOMMY BOWDEN FOR THIS LAME DUCK...Freaking Pat Summit (TENN womens BBall oach) would beat his behind.

the play by play caller for USC said "Spurrier said we are not LSU, we are not Bama, and certainly are not Clemson."
Spurrier actually said that about Bama & LSU and the announcer admitted he got carried away and threw in the clemson part out of excitment after Palmetto bowl behind kicking of Tigers. |
