According to the prostitute's account, the Americans bought bottles of
vodka to share with a group of women they approached in the club.
"They never told me they were with Obama," she told the newspaper, adding: "They were very discreet."
She told the Times she did not describe herself as a prostitute, suggesting that her price indicated she was a high-end escort.
"It's the same, but it's different. It's like when you buy a fine rum or
a BlackBerry or an iPhone. They have a different price."

hard to believe
The women probably charge more money when they are dealing with foreigners who don't speak Spanish.
800 dollars/21 guys = less than 40 dollars each
No Scandal ...
dealing with hookers/strippers is always a risky endeavor
you can get stiffed on service fees/quality of service ..etc
perhaps SS agent was not satisfied

that overshadowed a summit in Colombia last weekend.
Supervisors David Chaney and Greg Stokes are among three agents already leaving the elite agency in the wake of the affair. |

No foreigners in hotel rooms
No patronizing non-reputable establishments
No alcohol within 10 hours of reporting for duty
Moderate drinking allowed during trip but only when off duty
No alcohol to be consumed at hotel once visit has begun
Senior supervisors will chaperone most trips
Personnel must complete ethics training
Briefing on conduct prior to all visits and events
Briefing by the region's State Department on 'off-limits' areas and establishments

The Secret Service has also said it is investigating a report
that members of another advance team visited strip clubs and paid for
prostitutes in El Salvador in 2011.
A spokesman said on Thursday that no "credible" evidence had been found to back up the report. |
