#2 Posted: 1/14/2012 10:58:17 PM Every blow was on the side except the last 2 blows and that was when he went limp, when those last 2 blows were del. so i think it was a good call and silva had him and could have taken his time, not go in like a maniac and del. those last 2 illegal blows.
Ob. the wrong man won by DQ but rules are rules |

why was it fucked up? it was clearly the wrong call. Silva hit him ONE time in the back of the head and that was when the ref was stepping in to stop the fight
i had 4 parlays that were all winners except for having silva in them....im friggin FURIOUS that was a total bs call
and you know why im so pissed?
if you recall when nick lentz fought oliveira and lentz was SO BLATANTLY on his knees on the mat and charles just kicked him in his friggin face and knocked him out......well did that get friggin taken care of there? NO they gave the win to charles and i got fucked out of my lentz bet which (i know he was losing the fight but not the point) should have been an INSTANT DQ
darn that...an embarrassment to the UFC
hilarious dana white was tweeting while he was sitting there watching but didnt want to comment on that, go darn yourself

#8 Posted: 1/15/2012 1:31:33 AM i think silva easily should have got the win. i love rogan to death but just didnt like how he put em on the spot in the heat of the moment, even if it was the wrong choice. |

#9 Posted: 1/15/2012 1:32:01 AM This was terrible refereeing. You could call shots to the back of the head in every single fight if you wanted to.

#10 Posted: 1/15/2012 11:27:10 AM It does suck but he clearly did land at least once after being warned. BS but it happens. I bet on Bones vs Hamill, which was probably the biggest BS of all time. |

#11 Posted: 1/15/2012 11:36:31 AM I also lost on Bones when he was DQ'd for illegal downward elbows. But I am almost positive, that that fight, and the elbows were reviewed ringside, and the DQ happened after video review, not by the ref during the action. Can anyone confirm that? |

#13 Posted: 1/15/2012 11:59:26 AM There was one shot to the back of the head. The others were borderline at best. BUT!... There are shots to the back of the head in every fight. There have been so many title fight and big fight stoppages where there were shots to the back if head in a wild flurry. Total bullshit |

#17 Posted: 1/15/2012 2:20:17 PM I mean when a guy is hurt can't he just cover up his face and just pray that one of those punches hit him in back of the head

#19 Posted: 1/15/2012 3:07:20 PM I just saw it for the first time. Erick Silva clearly won that fight. Everytime a fighter is hammering someone shots hit the back of the head. Yamasaki is wrong here and Silva's name should be cleared in this bogus loss. |

I friggin loved that!! Are you kidding! That was awesome! The best part.. Clearly a dirty ref decision.. Surprised no one is calling foul here.. Its obvious.. Whenever a guy knocks someone down and hammers on him theres bound to be a couple shots that land the back of the head.. It always happens.. You can't darn this decision up without being dirty.. Clear case of yet ANOTHER rigged decision.. Happens a lot in UFC and I LOVE Joe Rogan friggin calling him out on it!!!! Joe knows his garbage!!! |

#21 Posted: 1/15/2012 3:56:46 PM PS - I had no money on any fight and have never seen these fighters perform before! I feel bad for you howdoiplayxx you got screwed by a dirty ref!
PPS - I had a lot of respect for Yamasaki I thought he was a great ref.. Until tonight - apparently he works for the mob/vegas now.. Just like Mirgliata or whatever that huge dumbfucks name is.. |

#24 Posted: 1/16/2012 2:10:04 PM BS reffing, but "we move lines" I highly doubt Mazagatti is working for the Mob.... Although Lesnar may disagree. He wanted to "rip that little moustache" off his face after he stood him and Mir up while Lesnar was pounding him then got subbed. In a starnge coincidence the stache is now gone |
