#1 Posted: 10/1/2011 4:00:19 PM I think there is a lot of value on 2 fights tonight :
Stefan Struve (+150) vs Pat Barry (10 units to win 25 units)
Struve said earlier this week that he's tired of making big mistakes and getting knocked out on those mistakes, especially against Browne and Nelson in his last 2 fights. I think he learned from it and will come into this fight a lot more mature and having a good gameplan by using his reach and height to avoid Barry's big hands.
I've not been impressed by Barry, he has not been able to finish Cro Cop and surprisingly Kongo in his last fight. The only way I see him winning is by using his kickboxing background and work those legs but that is almost all. If Struve uses his jab well, Barry wont be able to set up his kicks. Also, Barry is mediocre on the ground and Struve can pull out any submission anytime in the fight if he can get him on he ground. At + odds, you got big value on Struve.
Struve by submission in the 2nd round
Paul Sass (+150) vs Micheal Johnson (5 units to win 12.5 units)
I think there's a lot of value on Sass, he is one hell of a BJJ fighter, he pulled guard like 3 times in his last fight against Mark Holst in UFC 120, he has a lot of weapons from the guard and we all know that Johnson is a big wrestler who likes to GnP from the top and he may get caught in a submission in the process. Johnson is known to have little problem with his cardio and it may get to him if the fight goes the distance. So Sass only worry is Johnson's hands and he should be good to win this.
Sass by submission in the 2nd round
Other Plays Anthony Johnson / Matt Wiman 0.97 unit to win 2 units
Just for fun parlays
Cruz / Struve / Johnson / Wiman 1 unit to win 6 units
Cruz / Struve / Johnson / Wiman / Edwards / Sass / Easton / Grant / Neer / Sandoval 0,10 unit to win 18,4 units

#3 Posted: 10/1/2011 4:15:33 PM you too Sawman, I'm active almost everyday on Covers but I'm not posting
a lot, I've been checking your thread at every UFC events!
GL on your plays, not on the same side for the Brenneman and M.Johnson fight but it's GL to you! Brenneman has made me lost so much money against Story lol, I think he fought a tired Story and may have a hard time against a very well rounded Johnson who can win with his hands and his wrestling.
GL buddy!

In order of "capping ability" without keeping any record I'm better at capping NFL and NHL but I just love to bet on MMA, study matchups and fights by watching videos reading interviews and everything. UFC 90 been my first full UFC event, have not missed one event since, I have been to UFC 113 and 124 since I'm from Montreal and just felt in love with the sport. I'm sure we will share some good ideas in the next few weeks with the NFL and NHL debut..
By the way I have not confirmed anything to this week I like :
NO -7 (Jags D wont be able to stop that offense) MIN -2.5 (KC might go 0-16 this year at this pace lol) DET +2.5 (Dallas looked so disorganised last week)

#9 Posted: 10/2/2011 4:57:50 PM Yeah I cashed the 4 main-event parlay if I can say it like this, I always do a parlay on all of the main event fights just to have a little fun...
Well, I was 10 out of 11 on the Versus 6 card, the only one I missed is the first fight Watson vs Sandoval..if Sandoval won, I'd have had a perfect night haha!
BIG NIGHT , +30 something units for the night!
