#1 Posted: 9/11/2011 11:03:56 PM See ya everyone who had Cleveland, Atlanta, Kansas City, Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh, New York Giants, and (maybe) the Jets.
What do you guys think about Week 2?
Gotta think there is no chance that Pittsburgh loses to Seattle coming off that behind kicking they got in Baltimore
Buffalo could have some momentum after the big win at KC and they catch OAK off of one less day of preparation than normal
Green Bay should take care of Carolina but I always try to avoid going with road teams (superstitious)

#2 Posted: 9/12/2011 8:28:20 AM Yeah, im probably going to go with Pitt.. People that stayed with KC and their line dropped to -3.5 from like -6.5 should of known better. Not to be rude but that would of scared the crap out of me... Houston was almost a lock with manning out, was an easy decision. Nothing is certain but i would rather take houston at home against an indy team with their head cut off (no manning) scrambling to get garbage together than KC. |

#3 Posted: 9/12/2011 9:57:30 PM Another tough week Kap....early thought
Detroit is intriguing but do I trust them yet?
Green Bay could get some serious action...they are a proven good road team and NO WAY cam newton can put up anything close to that. Their corners are to good to let steve smith burn them like that.
Pitt is the absolute lock of the week. I will most likely take them with one of my 2 picks.
I really do not like any of the other games this week. |

#4 Posted: 9/12/2011 9:58:55 PM looks like either nobody gets eliminated or everyone does. i really think 90%+ take Pitt this week. |

#5 Posted: 9/13/2011 10:04:14 AM I think we're gonna see everyone and their momma on Pittsburgh this week.... definitely the "safest" play after they are coming off the BAL beatdown, but do we really want to use a quality squad like Pittsburgh this early?

#6 Posted: 9/13/2011 11:15:54 AM Its hard to pick Pitt in a later week if you are eliminated. Never leave a good team on the board unless you can find similar value with another team like Green Bay.
It might be worth a shot to fade Pitt and hope for a loss. Guarantee that would eliminate almost everyone.

depends on how many people are in your pool.. and its such a strong play that its hard not to take it.. so many people try to get tricky the first couple weeks and eliminate themselves. I won my pool last year, i strategized and planned for weeks ahead trying to find the best spots for the good to great teams but ill be taking Pitt this week... Its too early to get creative, last year i managed by planning to always have at least a 6 pt spread adv team every week and won it i think in week 16.. |

#8 Posted: 9/13/2011 8:10:05 PM Yes use Pittsburgh this week, who knows what can happen injury wise during a season, the goal is to survive. I am almost 99.9% positive I am going Steelers

#9 Posted: 9/14/2011 12:16:12 AM I have two picks in the same league, What is the strongest second play? I see the Jets at home vs jags as solid and green bay at Carolina good as well. Both teams would have a strong advantage at QB and a better D. |
