Houston will crush them if they play like they did last week.

Well, if you were watching the game, which I doubt, the Cowboys didn't do garbage. The Redskins defense was incredible. They will shut down the Texans also and the McNabb will play a whole lot better this week. I think the Skins win by 10 points. Cowboys most overrated team this year by far. Not even close. |

#32 Posted: 9/18/2010 2:00:56 AM Been on this site for a while....Don't post much but always read the info...I live in Houston.....EVERY ONE IS ALL OVER HOUSTON SINCE THE COLTS GAME... Just FYI the local book has this line at HOU-3 +105 if you take WASH +3 -125......THIS IS NOT THE MONEY LINE just the spread and the juice.....line looks very fishy to me....I have already bought the .5 to 3.5 and took WASH for $1450 to win $1000....seems like a trap on Houston... good luck to all. |

#34 Posted: 9/18/2010 8:18:47 PM Cant believe most of you guys are still crying about last week's game V. Dallas. Unreal. IF you are going to let a disappointment from last week cloud your vision this week maybe you should stay away from this game.
I like the skins here, but may lay off and see where this team is going.

My thoughts exactly. Houston has a greater chance of a let down. Wash escaped with dallas blunders didnt necessarily play that great. Houston finally beat there arch enemy comeback king colts. let down to houston. Wash wins straight up. |

#39 Posted: 9/19/2010 2:06:05 AM houston has a solid defense and so does washington. the big difference maker is houston has a fresh, explosive running game whereas the skins have a couple of worn out old-timers. also: houston has much better passing game than skins do. so i think the value is Houston minus the low pts. at first, i wanted to jump on skins ml, but houston is a scary team to bet against and i wasnt too impressed with skins offense only scoring 2 field goals last week. that's pathetic. im also reading how donovan and clinton are beat up.
BET HOUSTON. MAY BE THE BEST TEAM THEYVE EVER HAD. |

#43 Posted: 9/19/2010 11:35:17 AM Thinking here... That everyone on the Skins doing so because they're a veteran team that won't shoot themselves in the foot...and Houston is more likely to. 'Right of passage' game for Texans showing if they have 'matured' to take the next step...to become a contending team. This game is the litmus test (avoiding a let down from Indy). BOL..ALL.

Wish I had your bank roll ! The line does look a little fishy to me as well. Texans are ridding high after their win over the Colts, but on the road its a different story ! I like this Texans team, they seem to have a solid running game with this kid from Tenn., that will help Schaub out a lot ! Don't like chalking points on a road team but I see Houston coming out with something to prove here, no doubt McNabb and the Skins want this game just as bad, they didn't really show that well against a struggling Dallas team with no offense ! McNabb is one of my favorite QB's and he looks to be in damn good shape, he could be the difference here ! I'll roll with the up and coming Texans untill they prove me wrong !
We can't forget about Mario Williams or Andre Johnson either !!! They may have just a little to say about what happens today !

#48 Posted: 9/19/2010 3:37:30 PM Love Washington here. I know they didn't light it up last Sunday night, but Dallas has a solid D (not really showing against bears) and McNabb had little time last week. Peyton lit up Houston D and I expect Donovan to do the same. I think there Defense shows up to in a big way.

Arian Foster will torch this D like nobodys business. Houston may have a let down after their upset, but Wash is still a HORRIBLE and incompetent behind organization. Wash fans know deep down their team is trash and will NEVER win a sb anytime soon.

Houston is also 8-5 ATS in thier L-13 road games while the Skins are 6-2-1 ATS in thier L-9 games overall. The Skins are 10-8-2 ATS in thier L-20 games as doggies. I like Houston in this game even though they are giving -3 pts here. They should cover that line vs an impotent Washington offense.
My Guesstimate - Houston-20 Washington-16
FINAL SCORE - Houston-30 Washington-27
Had HOU-3 which ended in a push, BUT...
I'm sure that many like me had already written this off as a loss when the Skins were up by 17 in the 3rd quarter.
I was smart enough to snag HOU-0 pts Live Game Line at +120 a few minutes before they tied the game in the 4th quarter so I did make a little money on the comeback. Nice road win for the Texans and thier fans... many me almost forget that they once had the Oilers. I'm happy for thier fans in Houston...Sucks to lose a pro team in any city. Look at Cleveland... the ownership moves the business to Baltimore and the Ravens win a Super Bowl.
Congrats for the push to all Texans backers.
Skins fans... Reality football is back now. Enjoy the cellar with Da Boyz from Dallas. Ha,ha,ha. Beware... The Rams are next and I think the Rams will win that game. |
