This is my first year to do fantasy basketball, and my cousin gave me a full day's notice.  So, needless to say, I didn't really know what I was doing.  Plus, haven't been watching that much pro hoops for the past several years.  We only have 8 teams in our league, and I had first pick.  What do you guys think?  Anybody I should definitely drop or any sleepers that might be on waivers that I should go after?

I know there are only 8 teams in the league so I'm sure a lot of the teams look great but your team is stacked.  Not sure how DWill and Pau fell back to you.  You should be the team to beat in my opinion but like I said I'm sure in an 8 team league a lot of squads look good right now.

Absolutely LOVE you first three rounds.  The only thing that would be better is if you got a dominate center in those first three rounds but for real awesome job!  The middle and later rounds bring a lot to be desired in terms of upside (outside of AI and Lawson).  I hate the picks of Brand, Jamison and Chandler.  All in all for your first draft ever damn fine job.  Good luck this season!
