When I type in anything in google or yahoo search I get nothing or this:

Access to Proxy requires some authentication

I had to make my internet connection unsecure for some reason when I couldn't log in last week. Help a noob out please.

what OS you using?  Windows XP? 7? something else?

check your internet settings and see if there is something entered in the proxy settings.  sounds like its asking you to login to some proxy server from your message.

just noticed you were the one with the virus problem in the other thread.  If this the same computer and still has a virus, you might want to either reload your computer or hire someone to clean up your machine.

You still have critters running around your system. Run Combofix and try, then Malwarebytes

I would put into safe mode.....do this by rebooting and hitting F8 continuously until you're given the option of safe mode with networking......then go to bleepingcomputer.com and download rkill.exe and save to your desktop.

Next run a full scan of malwarebytes from malwarebytes.org....Finish the scan and quarantine any detected viruses...

Next run rkill.exe to stop any virus processes still running.....

Reboot into normal mode and hopefully you will be good to go.....
