If we went with the huge line movement, we'd be 1-1, as the Chicago Rush covered, yet the Tampa Bay Storm fell flat on their face... so going by movement may not be the easiest thing to do.

#2 Posted: 4/8/2010 5:44:59 PM Just got home... I'll post the lines, that way we can watch how they move as we get closer to game time:
FRIDAY
Cleveland Chicago -8
Jacksonville -3 Alabama
Spokane Utah -1
SATURDAY
Orlando Bossier -2.5
Dallas -6.5 Tulsa
I know jack about this league, but I do like Dallas. Obviously, the sharps bet against Tulsa heavy in week one, but by beating Tampa Bay as 8 point dogs, I think we have an overinflated line here. Dallas is an original AFL team, and should have experience. Not only that, but Dallas was ranked as a contender to the Arenabowl champion, so someone thinks they are good. I'm going to watch this one with interest, I wouldn't be shocked if this shot up in the next 24 hours.

#6 Posted: 4/9/2010 6:12:58 PM Well, just as I expected, Dallas has jumped from 6.5 point faves up to 11 point faves. But the even bigger movement was Spokane, who opened as a 1 point dog and the sharps pounded into a 10 point fave! What I'd like to know is if these sharps (and the only ones betting Arena football are sharps IMO) are gonna go over the top now and take Utah with the points, setting up a very sweet middle.
i really wish I had taken Dallas now, but it's still early and I'm going to watch how these lines move.

#7 Posted: 4/9/2010 6:27:55 PM Ok guys, I'm going to make a play here. Can't beat the line movement, but I can try and tease this and get around it that way. I know, I lost last weeks teaser, but that's because I went against the sharps who were on Chicago. Plus, had I known Iowa's QB was sporting a beer belly, I would have stayed away. Anyways, Pinny hasn't released Arena for teasers yet, but when they do, I'll be hitting this:
7.5 point teaser:
Spokane -2.5 Dallas -3.5

Pinny hasn't offered teasers this week... not that shocked reall, considering the movement on these games... I guess it was too risky for them. In any event, should have just played Spokane straight, as the line was well off here and the Sharps knew it and pounded it. Utah got obliterated tonight.
Still have my eye on Dallas, even as a huge fave. What I did notice in this league, is that at the end of games the team that is losing will let the team that is winning score, to get the ball back. That's how Iowa screwed me over last week.
