#226 Posted: 5/4/2012 2:02:26 PM Do you think Baffert will pull a 1998 with indian charlie and real quiet.. If my memory serves me correctly baffert put two horses in the derby. Indian charlie and Real Quiet. Indian Charlie got hammered by the public and Real Quiet won the derby at 30-1.. Dont see that happening this year with liaison drawing #20 and bode. But i hate betting against baffert on Cinco de Mayo. Got 7 guys a 120 buck a piece, 840 superfecta box. Hopefully get some long shots in there. Baffert is a snake, but a hell of a trainer... Hope he get a triple crown winner one day, If he listened to his brother about getting Real Quiet a nose job, he would of got it! Good luck to all |

I had Real Quiet & he didnt go off at 30-1, he was 8-1........paid something like $18.80 to win & the exacta with Victory Gallop paid $297..........Liaison isnt anywhere near the talent RQ was, the horses Baffert had back then were awesome.
I would like to see Bode win the triple for Baffert but I doubt it will happen with this horse........... |

#229 Posted: 5/4/2012 4:08:55 PM Exactas for derby:
5 with 6,7,8,9,15............$20 for a total of $100
15 with 5,6,7,8,9............$20 for a total of $100
$75 left.........I wont play any super this year.
$50 to win on #5, Dullahan..............
$25 to win on #15, Gemologist.................
Thats enough money spent on the KD.............if the speed is fast up front, horses will be cooked & here come the closers.........its happened 3 times since 2000 where the closers came from back in the pack because of the costly pace................ |

I dont want to spend anymore.......here are some opinions, not official plays for supers:
5 with 6,7,8,14,15 with 6,7,8,14,15 with 6,7,8,14,15.......$1 bet will cost $60.............
15 with 5,6,7,8,15 with 5,6,7,8,15 with 5,6,7,8,15.....$1 bet is $60
9 with 4,5,6,7,8,15 with 4,5,6,7,8,15 with 4,5,6,7,8,15........$1 bet cost $120 (if the 9 wins, the payout will be sick)

Look at his final times in the 2 races before the derby, he has the fastest times than any other horse in the derby.............. |
