#51 Posted: 6/17/2012 12:04:03 AM Very good fight by Chavez Jr., people need to give the guy more credit now. Body punches wore Lee down. |

I shudder to think how lopsided this would have been had Chambers had TWO arms. He might not have lost a round. Probably still would have lost the decision though.. |

Chavez stopped Lee in 7. Chambers/Adamek went the distance. |

Its not even so much the the gambling aspect of it, its just the plain disregard to the actual fight....119-109 was filled out before the fight ever started, unless you have an IQ of about 2, how can you come to that conclusion?

#70 Posted: 6/17/2012 12:37:58 AM its sad if boxing has come down to fixing fights in NEWARK NEW JERSEY (15 min from my hometown by the way) for a guy with a polish fan base that barely fills the first 30 rows of seats in that arena...i think the liberty get bigger crowds than what i saw there tonight.........

#71 Posted: 6/17/2012 12:40:38 AM you put adamek in there with hopkins, dawson, ill even stretch a little and say pascal he gets outclassed and losses 8 rds easily.....ill be backing whoever his next opponent is....given the location of the fight of course after witnessing this debacle

#72 Posted: 6/17/2012 12:50:30 AM another thing.....when do you think networks will do away with unofficial scoring being shown on the screen during a fight......its only a matter of time i believe........the "unofficial scores" always seem to be spot on and question the unexplainable 'official" scores..... ......seriously LEDERMAN(a man with 100 yrs experience in scoring fights) HAS THE FIGHT A DRAW and ANEK HONGTONGONGPONTGAM from hong kong has the fight 119-109.....hmmmmmmm ....doesnt look to good

i think boxing is the easiest sport to gamble on for the exact reasons that you posted.
where else can you gamble on a one-on-one individual competition where you can hedge the probability of a judges decision in your favor?
