This is truly a sad story, and I wonder who denied this wish??

On radio this morning, Glenn welcomed Ted Nugent to the show to discuss some of the “controversial” comments that he made at the NRA convention. But while the media has been focused on what happened on the stage at the convention, Glenn was interested in what he saw happen behind-the-scenes. While at the NRA Convention, Glenn heard the story of how Ted Nugent was denied the chance to attend the funeral of a fallen Navy SEAL, even though the SEAL himself had put the request in his will. How could a hero’s wish be denied?

Ted Nugent Fires Back

“It isn’t the enemy that ruined America,” he said, affirming his support for Republican presidential front-runner Mitt Romney.

“It’s good people who bent over and let the enemy in. If the coyote’s in your living room pissing on your couch, it’s not the coyote’s fault. It’s your fault for not shooting him.”

Nugent had said in his address that “if Barack Obama becomes the president in November, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”

“If you can’t go home and get everybody in your lives to clean house in this vile, evil, America-hating administration, I don’t even know what you’re made of,” he said at the NRA.

This administration must fear we the people being loaded with guns and facts.

Are they profiling ?

How is the context of what Nugent said any different than what lefties say and write every damn day ?

The Nuge is amped-up louder than ever !
What he says speaks volumes !

Would like to see "My People" try and take Nugent's guns.

He's epitomizes everything a liberal despises.

Candor, individualism, kick-behind rocker.

Not to "nuanced" <insert man puking>  is he?

"Liberalism flourishes when good men do nothing. "

Sorry for the slight ammendment, Mr. Burke.

Nugent: The Secret Service are my buddies, OK?” ..........“They work for me. I pay their salaries and I mean that seriously. But also, you know, I train with the Secret Service. I conduct federal marshal raids here in Texas.

So, I rely on these heroes of the federal agencies to save my life. … So when you say Secret Service, all I can do is get a big grin on my face and realize we’ll either be shooting some taxpayer ammo at targets or we’ll be eating barbecue.”

Thank you tilt

At least people wont get all out of shape accusing me of starting the alias talk on an obvious cut/paste alias thread with alias supporters...

I'm surprised Nugent is supporting Mitt Romney and not Ron Paul. Isn't Romney just apart of the same war machine that most likely contributed to Chris Campbell's death in the first place?(I'm not sure how he died so I say "most likely")

Wouldn't Ron Paul be more up Nugent's alley since he used the phrase "defend the constitution"? Were not defending the consititution by being in Iraq. If this brave SEAL died in Afghanistan, why are we still there and does Romney have a plan to get us out of there?

Were no longer defending the constitution by being in Afghanistan anymore. The person blamed for the attacks on 9/11 is dead. Time to bring our servicemembers home. I'm not seeing Romney support this views. In fact, I see him lining up Iran in his sights for our next war.

Nugent is supporting Romney, because Romney is the nominee, and Nugent prefers Freedom to Communism.  It is as simple as that.

So he is comprimising his beliefs and selling out for a candidate that "sort of" supports his views? Why not use his fame and celebrity status to support Ron Paul? Having celebrities back him helped Obama in the last election.

Ron Paul is a sideshow, he has some good ideas, but never was going to be the nominee.  I am sure Ted Nugent probably supported Gingrich or Santorum since they are more conservative than Romney, but given the choice of Romney or Obama, it is a no brainer for what Ted Nugent believes in.

Why not do what is right and put your backing behind Paul? Especially if it's someone like Nugent. Someone with celebrity status. I'm not sure when it became popular to call the guy with the best ideas for policy a sideshow, but of that's what he is then sign me up for it.

Obama, Romney, or Gingrich will anything fundamentally change in America? Most likely not. Paul might actually provide the direction we need. Then again, maybe he will be another Obama. What I am almost certain of though is that Romney will be another Bush.

I think it's funny how Nugent "trains" with guys like Marcus Lutrell. Will be all for an invasion into Iran? Will he be putting his life on the line over there? I would love to see that.
