I will be following this year. This is easily one of the best systems on the forum! So consistent. Because the win % is so high, I build my losses into the next 5-10 series. I did this last year and though the stakes are higher, it paid off!! This makes baseball even more enjoyable than it already is.
Thanks LSU for the compliment.
I'm going to email ESPN after I write this because the power rankings are posted on/in the RPI window. Maybe it's just there to show what the current rankings are for us humans??? IDK. I always kind of figured it was calculated somehow into the system. I read how it's calculated again and you seem to be right. I will post again once ESPN replies to my email. You could very well be right my friend. |

#1577 Posted: 3/25/2012 12:56:59 PM I'm now 7-2 in my ncaa basketball betting, winning again last night!! Ive got 4 more plays today. Can't post em though, would be bad carma for me!! I wont tell you who I took but I like both dogs and high scoring games. Even if I lose all 4 I will still be up by $6.
Still waiting for espn to answer back. Had to re-respond because nobody knew what I was talking about and had to give them the link. |

#1578 Posted: 3/26/2012 12:06:32 PM one last quick question, B2W, when you bet on your system, do you bet to win a set amount or do you bet a set amount? in other words, do you bet 1 unit to win x units on every play or do you bet however many units to win 1 unit? I read somewhere that sometimes you increase your bet size depending on how you feel about a game, but in general, what would you suggest? |

This system is a winner. Thus we only care about how much money we win. If we are playing to win 1 unit, it`s a lot easier to track.
I used to do it the other way, then I had to add up how much I won. This way you just count the wins and if you bet to win $100 etc. each time, then you just multiply wins by that amount. Easy schmeezy.

#1581 Posted: 3/26/2012 4:35:44 PM The only problem with that is the juice. Last year we say juice lines at -220. At that rate your only winning about 40% of original bet.
But this system isn't about focused on how much you win more to the point that you win. It's much better to win 40.00 than to lose 100.00.
I can tell you this follow the strategy and you will win money. Don't go all degenerate and get cocky thinking you can squeeze in some other bets.

#1585 Posted: 3/27/2012 11:05:39 PM Alright I placed my first bet of the season. I am taking Seattle -130 ML.
I also took Houston to win the World Series at +30000. A 50.00 bet will net me a cool 15k. OK, I know it's a long shot, but that's what I love about baseball, anyone has a shot.

#1588 Posted: 3/27/2012 11:50:34 PM Yeah, I know it's a shot in hell, but every once in a while I've seen these hit.
Sometimes you just have to say WTF and the best part is I'm playing with house money.
