I dont think that would matter Smooth.  The schools in college are making way too much from sports and the boards of schools are greedy.  The wealth being thrown around in pro sports is sickening.  I feel there needs to be a profit cap on pro owners and athletes. If you cant make a million a year work there is something wrong with you. No human deserves to live like a god.  They can still keep charging out the wazoo but after a point the profits need to go back into the community.  I still remember the days when being an athlete was being like a doctor, you didnt get rich but it was an honorable profession.  As long as there are billions involved with TV, gambling, and being a pro there will always be corruption. The part that sucks is that betting sites and Vegas dont refund games that are proven to be fixed just look at the NBA when their refs fixed games, and I believe they still do in both pro and college hoops, they just threw one guy under the bus.  Maybe if the gambling community had to refund those bets that lost on those games then it would mean something when fixes get exposed.  I think they only get investigated because the general public got wind of it.All part of protecting profits.  Remember why Babe Ruth saved baseball? People were sick of sports being fixed and that was 100 years ago.

has anyone noticed on SFTC that props with the winning margin vs. 3 pts made or Ft's made that the tie option switches.  There might be a strategy in following those outcomes.  Why does the winning margin have the tie option sometimes and not others?  If I have time I will look back on the past results and see if I can find something.  Give me a couple days.  Yesterday was brutal

Booyhahz-Although I agree with your opinion about the need to address our domestic situation I don't think we should just throw our hands up and say there's nothing we can do when true evil raises it head. This man has being doing this for over 26 years. Enough is enough. Another point. Africa as a continent is the richest continent on Earth with natural resources hence this is the reason why it's been basically raped and pillage throughout recent history. But make no mistake Africa is diverse and has a long history of glorious civilizations who have contributed to it's history. From ancient Kush, Egypt and the Moors to many more. Africa's history encompasses all of man's conditions. The good, bad and  the ugly. One of the tragedy's of today's Black youth in America is that they don't know their history. The schools only teach about slavery and the civil rights movement. Black history goes way beyond slavery. When I was a kid I would ask my teachers questions about other parts of the world besides Europe. They could never answer my questions satisfactory enough. So I decided to embark on a mission on my own to learn about history especially Black history. It has made me a better person because I know there is more to being Black than slavery. I pass this message on to my boys to be proud of who they are. Teach them respect for themselves and respect for all people regardless of color or ethnicity. I strongly believe that if young Black men were taught their history the problems you see in most of America's cities would diminish over time. But because they don't know and haven't been taught they have no self respect or worse they have self hate. There is nothing more dangerous than a man that doesn't care about anything or anyone. That is why this Kony thing has hit home with me because we are sending a message that no matter what color children everywhere should be loved and not used to fight wars and turned into little monsters. The greatest love of all is the ability to love one's self. When you know your history it does several things. It gives you a sense of pride and love for your people and your self. It rids you of racism because you have no need to feel less than anyone because society has fed you lies all your life. By loving yourself and knowing your history your sense of hopelessness disappears. I really feel this is the answer to the many problems we see in today's troubled Black youth. I am happy to say that over the years I have counseled many young men in this area and have been told that it has helped them turn their life around. The one credo I try to live by is to do my part. If I can do my part I may not be able to change the world but I can change a life. I apologize for rambling but this is an important subject.

In the end it's a business no doubt but I think that out of billions being made giving these kids a few crumbs off the table would satisfy most of them. Think about it. Their food and shelter is covered by the scholarships. These kids just need money to buy a few toys, some clothes and a little walking around money. It wouldn't take much to satisfy them at that age. But when you have no money and the scumbags come out waving hundreds at you, you're more tempted. That's really what I'm saying. The majority of these kids will not make the pros in their sport. Let's at least give them a little something so they don't lose the one thing they have going for them which is an education.

Yeah they wont teach you about Crispus Attucks in school Smooth.  They still teach kids Columbus discovered America.  lol  History should be taught properly.  We will have to agree to disagree on the Africa thing.  lol  I just dont get what color has to do with nationality.  I know when slavery is talked about no one mentions how Africans sold other Africans to Dutch slave traders for pieces of metal for weapons and not all blacks are descendants of slaves.I never believed in a prefix before the word American even as a "native" American. I know fool come in all colors and sometimes I am the fool.  It is an interesting topic to discuss but I dont want to tie up this thread with too much non sport talk.  lol

Family history is very important and is something that is not passed on like it once was. I hope I didnt say anything to offend you. I respect you and your family and I hope all is well with your son while on his tour of duty.  I come from a military family myself.

I'm taking in a lot of water on Bovada so I'm going all in on Dallas tonight over Sacramento. Dallas has beaten them 10 times in a row at least and I see no reason why they can't do it tonight. This is the last of the money from the Super Bowl I won so I would rather keep playing than to dig deep before the tournament next week. A few all-ins could do the trick.  Good Luck to everybody tonight and this weekend!

No offense taken Booyahz. I enjoy the exchange of ideas. I have no problem with the "America first" attitude and I actually agree with it for the most part. I just don't think that as a World Power we can ignore some of the problems in the world. Columbus being a holiday is the biggest joke. Out here on the West Coast most school districts don't even recognize it anymore. They have different names for it. Here in the suburbs of Portland they use it  for "Teachers Conference" day. In the Bay Area they called it "Indigenous  American Day"  In San Diego where I was raised they just stopped celebrating it completely, same with LA and Seattle. How do you "Discover" a place that when you got there, there were over 100 million people plus other explorers came before Columbus. The Vikings with Eric the Red and early African explorers came to the Americas. Great books on those subjects would be "They came before Columbus" and "The ruins of Olmec" interesting stuff. Thanks for the input.

The Dallas Mavericks wiped out my Bovada account with that horrible effort last night. I'm gonna reload when the tournament starts.

They are pretty harsh over there no doubt. Hopefully it's only 24 hours. They still have Bama on lockdown which is quite crazy.

I know they have an Over/Under towards how many bans/suspensions they give out each year. What I didn't know is that they seem to have an Over/Under towards the total suspended time they give out also. As you probably know they refuse to go Under!

Brackets are up and ready to download at the aforementioned site ladies and gentlemen. Deadline is tipoff on Thursday. We don't care about the play-in games. If you have problems downloading brackets let me know and I can email them to you. Last years winner took home $920. They pay the top 4 positions. Last year I finished 18th out of 92 people. Not bad but I want to finish in the money this year. Good Luck to everyone in this pool or one of your own.
