Diaz didn't get the scrap he wanted and that's on Condit.  But Condit won that fight for sure.

thats fine it was a close fight. I know you were one of the guys that argued strongly for Diaz.

Either way you probably didn't expect Condit to fight this well

I scored the 1st 2nd and 3rd round for Diaz.  Diaz landed significant strikes each time he got in front of him in the 1st and 2nd rounds.  Condit landed maybe 1 significant strike all night.

That was Machida x2.  Pretty soon everyone will be pt fighting.  Congrats to Condit for not getting frustrated and sticking to their gameplan.

Sure, I'll get lost.  While actual pro fighters scored it for Diaz.

Perhaps Condit did win.  Who knows who wins now a days and what the scoring system is.  Machida did the same thing to Rampage and they didn't give him the decision.  Who knows.

It is going to be point fighting before too long.

get over it. I didn't expect you to take the loss like a man after arguing so strongly for Diaz.

Well?

I guess I didn't expect him to be able to run for 5 full rounds.  I thought Diaz would track him down eventually.  Congrats to Condit's gas tank.  But when people like Aldo or Barao earlier on the card throw kicks...they hurt...they mean something.  80% of Condits kicks were touches.  Nothing behind him.  The only shots Condit through to try and really hurt Diaz were some crappy spinning elbows that never landed.

I thought Condit might be a little more of a "Natural Born Killer".  But where I was wrong was overlooking Greg Jackson game plans.

So I was wrong.  Was a close fight.

I;m a Diaz fan.  I didn't even bet on him.  I know most people here are hardly fans and don't really care who wins, but I do.

I'm not taking it hard.  I thought Diaz won.  Some of the pro guys I follow on twitter thought so too.

Am I not allowed to have an opinion?

im neither a fan of both and here's what i think, diaz was the aggresor but condit controlled the fight. diaz landed a few combo's here and there but thats about it because condit kept pulling away once diaz got close.

condit landed his shots when he wanted to. it was pretty close imo

Nick can't win a decision when a guy lays on him but he lands 150 more strikes.  Can't win when a guy throws more weak shots while he chances him all fight.

I don't blame Nick.  He will probably take a few pro boxing fights and then call it quits.

Diaz still won't get the credit he deserves.  I guess he never really will.  People will find a way to discredit Condit then.

People may not understand Diaz's brand of boxing.  But it is great.  His combo's are second to none.  The volume of punches is 2nd to none.  The technique is 2nd to none when it comes to MMA fighters.

People slobbed on Cerrone's balls for a while.  Cerrone was a -280 favorite at one point.  And Nate Diaz beat the undefeated kickboxer down.  With what?  His boxing?  They both have excellent boxing...and Nick's is better.

We can all revisit this thread after the fight.  I will eat crow if need be.  There is no "value" in a losing fighter.  And Diaz wins this fight other than getting his scar tissue cut badly and it is stopped.

Nice Call:

Frank The Tank, and BigK

I'll admit, I had Diaz in this fight for alot of reasons, and those reasons turned out to be all wrong.  Maybe its my delusion of betting on him, but I would probably give him the first round, and thats probably it !!

Congrats to all Condit backers......I should have listened.

The point of looking for bets is to look for value. If you think a line is off you bet on it. Its always safe to go in someone else's thread and make a prediction. Now that's box footing

Let's be honest if you were wrong you wouldn't create a thread when its already over saying you were wrong. Anyone can create a thread after the event is over

you came in here seconds after saying other people scored it for Diaz and so did you.

Anyways I don't want to see Diaz retire. I  think he just needs to work on cutting off the ring better. The past few guys fell into his gameplan and he was able to walk them straight back and talk sh!t to them.
