Can't beat this deal.

This is even better than the one free wiper deal Lipps came up with.

I won't use this in my '68 Barracuda and I normally pay to have my oil changed in my daily driver (last time I did have them put in the next gen.).  This might give me enough incentive to do the oil change in my daily driver myself.

I do have some used oil in my garage that needs to be recycled. I'm guessing that will cost a few bucks.

Looks pretty good but returning used oil is a huge hassle. Los Angeles you can have the perfect oil change for about a dollar if you're in with the mexicans.

Other states I can see it being a good deal.

How do you get it done for "about a dollar"?

And that lube place on PCH and MB BL takes it for free........

An oil change on my car is way over $100 though (10 quarts of Mobil One synthetic).

Being fesicious esplande. Hawthorne and an 120th. I don't go near the mechanics in MB. Ripoff and careless. Place you go (JiffY) machines your drain plug an ultimately strips it.  (leak)

PM me and I'll be glad to put your oil change in the hands of a real mechanics up in Hawthorne.

Don't go to Jiffy on MB blvd. They don't care about leaks of any sort. That's why you sit in a waiting room instead of under the rack.

....Synthetic is

Unless you're running hot all day or on a race track it's worth it.

Bottom line is you still have to change out every 3k.

Every 3k?     Un no.......you can go 5k on regular blend oil and get 8-10k with Synthetic.  Sounds like you are passing bad info here pal

Go 'head and look at your oli clolor at 2,500 -2,700 "pal"

I'm not a mechanic but the man that touches my vehicle is one of the most highly regarded in South Bay Ca. That's not an easy award to earn.

Synthetic will go black same as 10/30 or 10/40. Keep waisting your money.

Yeah and your mechanic is the most highly regarded by whom?  That does mean garbage to me or anyone else.  Fact of the matter is I have a 99 Wrangler bought new, it has 136k on it and I've changed the oil every 5k and it runs like a raped ape.......So tell me now again what were you saying and how much more money do I have in pocket over 13 years?

Oh hell I have posted a deal on this a few times.  But on mine you didn't have to return 5 quarts of used oil.

I change mine every 3,000 miles and am pretty darn good about it. I once pulled a cylinder head off a chevy V-8 that had 150K on it (this was in 1985) and the guy changed the oil every 2,000 to 2,500 miles and it was spotless.  But you can get away with more in today's motors because the tolerances in the cylinders are so much tighter.

I'll always say that changing the oil and air filter REGULARLY are two of the cheapest things you can do to protect your motor, but you can get away with being less diligent with today's equipment.

I was looking for a car for my buddy and ran across numerous ones with 225K miles plus that didn't use oil.  They just make 'em a little better these days.

Nope. I never took the car to Jiffy, just my oil. I only get the oil changed (with the synthetic) every 12k. Every 3000 miles would be insane.

How about, ONE free wiper. And the one that you buy is double priced and they don't even have your size.

Mine was $9.99.  Not sure of the jacked up prices in your area.  But I guess you could get the blue light special $3.99 one.  If you don't mind changing it 4 times a year and have streakfest on your windows.

BTW, I do a 15K change with the fake stuff.  Looked pretty good after it was changed also.
