Everyone is so cofident that USC can win their conference, but I just don't think they can beat Oregon again
Pac 12 is going to fun to watch with Rich Rod and Leach back in the mix.....2 great offensive coaches in a conference where defense is optional.
Oregon and UW can run up the score as well.

I agree that the PAC 12 should be fun to watch in the years to come.

I agree that USC is probably slightly overrated. I say that not because they won't have a very talented starting 22, but because they are anorexically thin behind those 22. That said, if USC can make it to the national championship game, with the six-week Sabbatical that precedes the game, roster depth will be much less of a factor. The trick for USC will be staying healthy enough throughout the season to get to the national championship game. Personally I don't think they'll make it. I like the Ducks to win the PAC 12.

I think the Ducks will win a 4th strait conference title, but if anyone stands a chance to stop them it is USC. SC is said to have the best passing game in the country, but it is yet to be seen. I might be more convinced if it were anything but speculation. The, usually wrong, sports analysts made the same predictions about Andrew luck and the Cardinal, aswell as Landry Jones and the Sooners. I think USC is overrated because of depth, but most importantly because the analysts are basing the Trojan offense off of what they SHOULD have, not what has been seen. Pulling off a 3 point squeeker over Oregon doesn't suddenly make you a National contender! I have no doubt that Oregon and SC can out compete any SEC team on the Offense side of the ball, but the SEC is known for amazing defense. Oregon stands the better chance at the National Championship, but they will need to be unpredictable against a good SEC defense, but I guess that is what Chip Kelly is known for!! I would like to see the Pac-12 play against the Big -12 for the Nat.

When you return a QB who is the consensus 2012 Heisman favorite as well as the favorite to be the first overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft, and the #1 receiver in the country, expectations for USC this season are understandably very high. And that's before we talk about the emergence of the other receiver Marqise Lee, and the guy toting the rock Curtis McNeal. So there is no question they are loaded with weapons on the offensive side of the ball. Their question mark on offense will be how will a relatively young offensive line hold up, and can they stay healthy.
Other than placing the pressure of high expectations on USC, what opinion pudits express of them will have little effect on how they play on the field IMO.
I could see a scenario where the SEC is left out of the national championship picture, but it will require Alabama, LSU, and maybe Arkansas two lose 2 games each. That probably won't happen, but it could.
