When Lennox v Holyfield I was declared a draw after Lennox absolutely dominated, they said boxing would die. it did not
remember: REGARDLESS of the judges decision, it was a great great sweet science performance by Manny.
that's why we watch, to see the great boxing performances.
90% of the people who ordered the mayweather fight a month ago and this fight tonight, will order the next PPV fight that either mayweather and pacquiao are in
then, 2 ppv fights down the road, it will be 95% who come back
and then, a year or so maybe year and a half from now, when there's a big fight, 99% will come back who bought the last 2 fights.
the only 1% who will not come back are the ones who died
don't bury boxing, it never dies, no matter how many of you think it will.

if you never watch boxing again because of one freaking decision that went horribly wrong for God knows why, then you are not a true fan of the sweet science
12 rds of manny brilliance. the decision pisses me off, but not more than the greatness i watched.
i would buy it again for 60 bucks, just like i did the mayweather fight 1 month ago.
so fucking worth it to watch 2 of the greatest ever, both fight

I pretty much agree, very few will stop watching boxing because of this..but i do think it has a cumulative effect and decisions like these coupled with the inability to make the big fights like Manny and Floyd have boxing at a very low point.

I prefer watching UFC unless its a huge fight like Manny or in the old days with Tyson or Holyfield..knockouts, submissions, transitions, all the different fighting styles in MMA are more appealing to me..but a major boxing match is about as good as it gets in sports.
