NCState... The economy collapsed in 2008 under Bush. So Bush gave everyone 600.00 to spend to spark the economy..Didn't work, so Obama tried to spark it with another 600.00.

The problem was that Bush got invovled in 2 wars on a credit card. He told everyone to go shopping. In WW11 Roosevelt sold bonds to pay for the war. So don't blame Obama, the most filibustered president in history. Blame the repulsicans for giving the wealthy more tax breaks, while the little fish drownd.

but what has he done in his 4 years??? besides a lot of governement work on roads bridges??? I am not talking about bush, lets talk about what obama has done please

They were so embarassed and apologized profusely.. When his wife ( who absolutely hated weapons ) came home she came over to my house and apologized and even had tears in her eyes and asked for their forgiveness, saying that there will never be another gun in her house as long as she lives there. My 70 year old neighbor sold all his rifles.

To this very day, 30 years later, I thank God again and again that my son got up and left that day.

Nice personal narative for gun control  ..so your neighbor sold all his rifles, but the son who disregarded the first rules of gun safety still has the .45..

The first most basic firearm safety rule....always keep the muzzle in a safe direction.. never point the gun at something you do not intend to shoot ..

Rule #2 ..firearms should be unloaded when not actually use..Whenever you handle a firearm or hand it to someone, always open the action immediately, and visually check the chamber, receiver and magazine to be certain they do not contain any ammunition. Always keep actions open when not in use. Never assume a gun is unloaded................
