Awesome UFC 144, lot of great fights, great overall PPV, helps that i did well lol.  Obviously i would of loved to have Edgar win to give me 3-0 Posted Record for the event but im definitely happy because my bigger bets came through...

K, lets move on to the event which is coming quickly, next friday.

Not sure who to take in this one, im on the fence. I may just lay low and not bet. I really dont have much of a lean on any of those fights.

What do you guys think??

I will say that i had a really bad feeling after seeing both fighters (edgar, Bendo) enter the octagon. Then i started to feel better for the first round and almost all of the 2nd round till bendo did that upkick. I felt that Edgar won the first round and was definitely winning the 2nd round till the upkick.. Awell, i cant complain over the decision, bendo looked like he wasnt even in a fight while Edgars face looked like mush..

Waiting for a decision I was thinking: Edgar wins a bad decision and then Bendo gets rematch. That would have been typical Edgar fashion! Wouldn't have been the worst decision if Edgar won. It was really the up kick that turned the tide. Lapse if good judgement. Couldn't recover. Edgar really should move to FW. Lookin forward to Bendo pettis deuce!!
Kampmann alves very tough fight to call. I think it all comes down to kampmanns TD ability. Standup should favor alves, although kampmann not bad on feet

yeah i agree, was hoping someway edgar gets a crazy decision but i cant complain that he lost.  I would of been so happy though lol.   yeah that upkick really changed the tide in that fight, i cringed and felt my money slipping away after that...   Yeah, edgar should go down to FW but then again, i think he likes being seen as the small 155er and not sure he wants to battle with Aldo but that would be an amazing fight. I think i would bet on edgar if the price was right..

They also keep saying Aldo up to LW. He said he would but it has to start with a title shot. I wonder how he would fair against the bigger guys?

On the discussion of weight classes UFC should change to 165 and 175. Add ine extra weight class And eventually maybe 195

i dunno man, they are already going to have a new weight class with the 125s.  I think there are enough weight classes now.

There are so many great 155ers. It could be a way to sPlit em up. Some guys are caught in the middle. BJ comes to mind. I could handle another set of title fights too

I really don't see Kampmann getting Alves to the ground if he tries to go that route.  I think this stays standing the whole way through, and Alves either catches Kampmann and blasts him or wins a decision.. also like Court Mcgee to impose his ground game and wear down Phillipou

Glad you did well at UFC 144 Moneyshot, it was just nasty for me, Okami totally fucked my night.  That Hunt win was awesome though!  I was hoping for the decision to go Edgar's way as well but I thought Henderson had won.

CT, why don't you think kampmann gets alves down? Smaller?

I don't think kampann will take alves down either, I think Alves' strongest attribute is his takedown D! I also think this fight will be the boringest of all time:(

Yeah Kampmann definitely won't be shooting for takedowns, and Alves should be too strong in the clinch for Kampmann to get him down from there.

I've already bet Alves, it jut really seems like a bad matchup for Kampmann.  But I think it's odd that his line isn't going up at all with so many on him as well (I've only seen a few picking Kampmann), usually not a good sign.  Is Kampmann going to be too quick for Alves and easily out-point him to a decision?

Kamp by dec +170, alves by dec + 130... You could play those both a be up a pinch... Goes to decision -300 - not a great line but I like the chances

Sawman: kampman has the 2in reach advantage also I recommend not playing both fighters by decision, bc if Alves wins by decision ur in essence laying well more than -300. Good luck!

This is not a 5 round fight. Not sure why you would assume it was

I originally assumed it might be since dana said main event fights were going to be 5 rounds now . Munoz/leben was but then ellenberger/diego wasn't so i googled and found out the contract had already been signed for 3 rounds for this one.

I think this fight is too tough to call for me to pick either side. Alves is a great striker but he has been up and down  in his past few fights..his kryptonite is wrestlers but I cant really see kampmann taking him down.  Kampmann has a better reach and decent striking so I could see him possibly staying on the outside and trying to outpoint alves. But kampmann sometimes has shitty gameplans..so not touching this one.
