#1 Posted: 5/2/2012 10:01:40 PM Hey guys, can you help me out with providing your habits regarding coffee consumption? Thinking about how important coffee will be with my future business that I want to open.
1. Where do you get your coffee every morning? Starbucks, 7-11, McDonalds, local donut shop, etc.?
2. How much is your average transaction when buying coffee and any extra items, like donuts, muffin, bagel?
3. How many days per week do these transactions take place? Do you guys do this every day before going to work?
4. Can you rate these in order of importance on why you get coffee where you currently do? price/quality/convenience
Thanks guys for any feedback!

1. Where do you get your coffee every morning? Starbucks, 7-11, McDonalds, local donut shop, etc.? I buy Starbuck's or Peet's whole bean coffee and make my own coffee at home. Like a strong cup of coffee every morning and cheaper to make it at home.
2. How much is your average transaction when buying coffee and any extra items, like donuts, muffin, bagel? $9.99 a pound. When I feel like splurging I'll go to Starbuck's (closest coffe shop to my house) and get a Large coffee. So only $2
3. How many days per week do these transactions take place? Do you guys do this every day before going to work? Buy a pound once every week and a half to 2 weeks.
4. Can you rate these in order of importance on why you get coffee where you currently do? price/quality/convenience 1. Quality 2. (tie) Convenience & Price
Thanks guys for any feedback!

#6 Posted: 5/4/2012 8:43:34 PM Get all my coffee at home. Mostly because I can't leave the house without it but also because coffee places are too damn expensive.

#10 Posted: 5/7/2012 11:15:43 PM Convenience/Speed main priority. Home is shitload quicker.
If out and about, will find a gas station cuz the parking is typically easier.. |

#11 Posted: 5/7/2012 11:18:50 PM I don't understand how coffee drinkers can actually go pickup coffee. Sounds like a huge pain. |

# Times Ordered Coffee at a Coffee Shop = 0
# Times Picked up Coffee at a Gas Station = Maybe 10-15 times

#15 Posted: 5/8/2012 3:34:39 PM I've cut down on having coffee when I'm out at lot
a lot of places in London a coffee, cappuccino, latte etc is dearer than a beer in a pub
mostly just have coffee at home or at work now there's a lot of these new instant ground coffees out on the market over here which are pretty good quality .... no need for expensive machines

For as much as you bring to this site in other forums, you don't add garbage to this one.
You act like coffee is the debil and you can't possibly workout productively or progress drinking it.
All these other products out there are just glorified stimulants like coffee.

I have a Keurig at home. Make 1-2 cups a morning. Once a month I hit Starbucks when I am on the go. Otherwise it's cheap black coffee from the closest place. Anything over a buck is hilarious.

#18 Posted: 6/8/2012 6:51:57 PM I keep my coffee beans in a airscape container and grind them as I go.Never buy beans already ground and always keep them airtight away from moisture and heat. Clean your coffee maker monthly with vinegar or for hard water a mixture of iron out.
Anyone can have great tasting coffee.Just be smart about it.
