Ok so in my big money league I have the #8 overall pick. This is a 10 team league with PPR scoring.

A few Questions I have.

1. What should I do as my strategy. (Do I got for an elite QB in Brady or Brees as my 8th pick?)

2. Do I get Calvin Johnson who may or may not be there at 8. It is PPR so he may be gone (WR are the deepest positions this year)

3. Do I get a runningback with my 8th pick such as Matthews, Mcfadden, Murray, Johnson, etc...? (I feel RB's are thin this year but I feel this is a big drop off after Foster, Mccoy, Johnson, Rice, and Jones Drew.

Rosters are QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, K, DEF.

Any help or ideas would be great. I usually like picking 6-10 so I am happy with my spot. What strategy do you guys who have ever picked 8th use?

I know some people will look at this without commenting and thats fine but the more comments the better. I look forward to some answers.

anyone in mind you would like an number 8 timdogs? Alot of risky RB's will be there at 8. Murray, Charles, Mcfadden, Forte (with bush as his backup could hurt his production), Matthews? Who do you like?

1.Tom Brady

2. Chris Johnson

3. Rob Gronkowski (Will he be gone already?)

4. Darren McFadden

McFadden is a big gamble. Not sure if you want to be the buy to pay the high price for him.

I doubt you get Brady or Brees but maybe Megatron. However, you could take Welker 1st then grab Sproles in 2nd. They should be good for 180+ catches between them. I see no reason why either would be any less effective than last year.

Another strategy might be to go with the best available RB( MJD, CJ ) first then come back with Stafford or Graham in round 2.

Unfortunately for Murray, the Cowboys like to throw into the endzone but at TE's and WR. Forte will lose goal lines to Bush. Mathews and McFadden could be beasts but risky 1st choices.
