Lippsman,
Got myself a little email problem.
The other day i did the compact thing in outlook express, since the box kept popping up.
Well after compacting, i was missing emails in my inbox from march to august 2. Now heres the problem, i knew the files would be in the recycle bin, so i went to the recyle bin and found the inbox folder, that the compacting sent to there. So i clicked on restore, firguring it would put all the old emails back into outlooks inbox folder, but nothing happened. Now the problem is, that inbox folder is no longer in the recycle bin and like i said the old emails didnt go back to where they were supposed to be.
Is there anyway to find that folder on my computer again? I had some important emails i really needed.
Thanks
cd

Lippsman, i found the file it was actually where all the files for outlook are located, thing was it was named inbox.bak, so all i had to do was get rid of the inbox.dbx file and rename the bak one and they were all back again.
Took awhile, but got it

WOW That's funny. That stupid box always comes up for me and I tried it once, but it was "working" for like 20 minutes so I cancelled it. CD, did it help free up memory for you?
