#3 Posted: 1/13/2011 9:33:27 AM damn...totally opposite. I did say they were early leans. lol
my bb for the Ravens-Steelers is the rushing prop:
Mendenhall (Rice) most rushing yards @1.70 - I'm thinking Mendenhall is going to get 20+ carries and Rice not so much, think they'll use him in a lot of screen plays ie. fewer carries on the ground - Steelers giving up 30 fewer yards per game and a yard less per carry, last time they played Mendenhall had 19 carries, Rice had 9...
...also leaning to the Boldin (Wallace) most receptions @ 2.00 - I think the Ravens are going to struggle with the run and look for mid yardage plays in the air...
Not going to budge off the Falcons at home for -1.5. But I think there's some pretty good value on Proline H/T. 2.05/3.50
Also think taking Roddy White to catch more passes than Jennings is a good one @ 1.70. He's a beast at home and he finally got a little down time to lick his wounds. |

#4 Posted: 1/13/2011 9:42:34 AM I'm hoping that NE spread drops closer to a TD...but pretty confident in an old fahsioned Pats behind whoopin'. Brady at home has a passer rating with an exponent attached to it and Sanchez is sitting at around a rating of 30 in NE. After this one he'll rank right up there with a Dirty Sanchez.
...and, Belichick is going to coach the garbage out of the fat person. |

#5 Posted: 1/13/2011 9:53:25 AM going to start with the seahawks their magic carpet ride ends this weekend!........they were little lucky last week going to be bit different in nice warm Chicago......i see beat down coming
"Seahawks just 2-6 vs. line on road this season, and
all nine of their losses have been by 15 points or more. Seattle now
3-14 vs. number on road since late in the ‘08 campaign"
Packers +1.5.......like the falcons nice young team but think rogers little bit more composed and dont sell that pack D short they can shut down the run and have couple all world corners to slow pass game......ask mike vick

#6 Posted: 1/13/2011 10:42:10 AM Ya', I think you're right about the Seahawks on the road...
...I'm expecting a good showing from the Pack D...although I don't think they completely shut down Turner (110 yards matchup) or White or Jenkins or Gonzalez or Ryan (24-28 last matchup)...I think what will surprise a lot of folks is the Falcons D. This may come down to a field goal, just think the home team will be on the winning side. Rodgers went 26-35 for 344 yards last time they met and GB lost by a field goal.
Falcons rested, at home -...just too much of an edge not to take em' by -1.5 |

Steelers -2.5 - Defence they say wins games, have to go with Steel here. Slight advantage for Steel offensively. Believe it or not might be a strong consider for the Over.
Falcons -1.5 - Not much to say here, Falcons at home .
Bears -9.5 Matt Hasselback your head is about to explode
Pats SU (Jets +9.5) SU has to go to the Pats. Giving the edge to better coach and QB, but I think Jets will cover. |

#8 Posted: 1/13/2011 1:10:46 PM My thoughts on the Bear/Seahawks game. All of a sudden in the final week we have a contender in the NFC West, you gotta be shitting me. Going into the final week they stand at 6-9, win their final game against the Rams and finish 7-9. The loss I attribute as many others do to bad play calling on the Rams. Next week Seahawks humble the Saints. I don't know where the Saints D went but they sure didn't show up in Seattle. Some of the scoring plays and major yardage appeared as if the Saints D had been smoking fatties in the parking lot before the game. Mind you Saints D nothing to write home about but this the Seahawks team are owners of some of the worst O stats in the league. I can't recall how many times I yelled at the TV or anybody in the room "You've got to be friggin kidding". Fortunately nothing was broken and the dog has torgiven me.
I/m expecting a big melt down in Chi town as the Seahawks are no match for Bears. This is a team with a real D.
Okay my rant is over, go about your business

#12 Posted: 1/15/2011 5:06:11 PM I'm on the Steelers for the game and as such have the following props:
-Flacco OVER 19.5 completions 1.60 -Boldin OVER 4.5 receptions 1.90 <--- great value -Longest Rush UNDER 24.5 1.70
Just over 5-1 odds Feel REALLY confident about this ticket!
For the evening game, which should be another great game:
-Rodgers Over 20.5 completions 1.60 -Turner UNDER 87.5 rushing yards 1.80 - GB will stack the box against Turner -Sacks UNDER 4.5 1.50 - Rodgers has a quick release, operates a lot from the shotgun, and because of Atlanta's run attack, most teams don't blitz them often -Longest Rush UNDER 25.5 1.80 -Longest Punt Return 15.5 1.80 - both teams can move the ball through the air
NHL Best Bet of the Day TB/Car OVER 5.5 - 1.60

#17 Posted: 1/16/2011 12:09:48 PM I like the lakers (1.60) and over 45.5 in the jets game.
Going with the big "4.00's" in the t, but home teams should cover.
Anyone like Van city? |
