I've asked this question before:
"How could a Ron Paul supporter have Barack Obama as his
 second choice?"

I ask this because Obama is the antithesis of Paul. Paul wants no
government intervention in our lives. Obama is a statist.

I now think I know why Paul supporters have Obama in the bullpen. They are social issue voters first. They can't actually say they support Obama because he is a disaster. So what they do is paint Romney, Santorum, Gingrich, and all of their supporters as the first picture in the thread "Why do People Vote Republican." These are the rednecks who cling to their Bibles and guns. They are racists hicks from the south and I am too enlightened to vote for the same candidate those racists hicks from the south are voting for.

If any of you who support the Paul/Obama ticket 2012 were fiscal first voters then you wouldn't support the Paul/Obama ticket. None of the Republican voters are perfect but they are better than Obama when it comes to fiscal and constitutional issues. If any of the Republicans were elected they would: 1) repeal Obamacare (even Romney) if it does get by the Supreme Court...2) Better energy policy: stop with the "Cap and Trade" talk, drill now so twenty years from now we won't have to depend on oil from unfriendly nations...3) Not use taxpayer money to stimulate the economy...4) allow religious institutions to practice their beliefs as protected by the First Amendment...5) allow law abiding citizens their right to bear arms as protected by the Second Amendment.

I can totally understand why Paul would be your first choice but one of the three Republicans should be your second choice. Remember, besides sitting in the Oval Office, the President also brings with him a Cabinet and advisors: Do you want Eric Holder, Anita Dunn, Van Jones, George Soros, Richard Trumka, Andy Stern, Cass Sunstein, John Holdren, Rev Wright, etc, for another four years...or do you think people randomly chosen out of the phone book would be better? I choose the random people from the phone book.

Hysterical considering last month I asked this same question of you re: your love for Santorum, Romney, Gingrich, or Paul.

Not only do you mimic whatever Fox News tells you to think, but now you copy ideas from other posters.

Do you have any original  ideas or thoughts? Just one.

I have to disagree with at least one of your "second choices".

Sorry I don't my want civil rights to disappear because we have a difference of opinion on porn.

And before you call me an idiot for making a point over porn. This is where it usually starts, with something small and trivial.

If you worded your question the same way you worded this one then I don't even know what it means:
"Hysterical considering last month I asked this same question of you re: your love for Santorum, Romney, Gingrich, or Paul."

I didn't copy this directly from FOX News. I copied it from FOX who had on Sarah Palin who heard it from Rush Limbaugh.

Even though we have heated debates I hope our cross country trip isn't off. Would you rather be Thelma or Louise. Besides, I bought Hannity's Books on Tapes for the trip.

Some of them say he is their second choice. Some of their arguments seem to concern porn. I know Santorum talked about keeping our kids safe from porn but I don't think he said he was going to ban porn.

I have heard that Obama's campaign slogan in 2012 is free birth control, free condoms, and free porn

Oh and I'm still waiting for someone to give me a reason to vote for Romeny, Santorum, or Gingrich.

Someone convince me.

When I think back to all the threads I read in here, none of them seem to give any reason for voting for these guys. All I remember seeing is why Obama sucks and why everyone is going to vote for anyone except him. Except I haven't heard a valid reason to vote for any GOP candidate except Ron Paul.

Someone please give me reasons to vote for anyone in the GOP other than Ron Paul. Please.

Your first thread you talked about what you were afraid of or feared...

I am glad you are evolving out of a place of fear to fuel your perceptions...

looks like a step in the right direction...

When did I make a thread about my fear of spiders and clowns?

You're right, my porn comment is completely out of line.

Now that I know that Chuck Norris is supporting Newt Gingrich, I can't possibly see how I could vote for anyone else.

Chuck Norris has had such a profound impact on American Politics all these years. Nothing bad ever happened in Texas when was Walker: Texas Ranger.

Looking forward to another 10 years of war with another middle east country that hasn't attacked America.

Romney’s campaign slogan 2012 is just because I’m in a cult doesn’t mean I want you to be a member

Gingrich’s campaign slogan 2012 is let’s go to the moon and I’m a thinker

Santorum’s – campaign slogan 2012 is yay regression

Obama's campaign slogan in 2012 is free birth control, free condoms, and free porn

Ron Paul’s campaign slogan in 2012 is both sides are wrong

Looks like sane people are stuck with the Obama or Ron Paul and Ron Paul is about to drop out
