#29 Posted: 8/6/2012 11:40:38 AM Wondering your analysis on the China Over and Spain plays.
China averages 64 pts a game, averaging 59 pts these last 3 games.
Team totals: o/u 81 GB - 68 China
Spread Total: 150
Line error: China needs to score 69 pts.
China has horrible defense, lots of 3's/second in the olympics, so I can understand some of the thought into the over. And most likely than not, when I see a total that is just too high (and when the public is on it and leans the under), the Over would hit. Even though I'm probably staying away from this game and maybe going with Brazil.
Heres my reasoning into Brazil is that Spain could intentionally lose in order to avoid a semifinal against U.S.
A win would give Spain a second place finish in Group B and a spot in the upper bracket. A loss would make Spain finish in the lower half of the bracket and would not have to face US until the finals.
Scariolo could rest Navarro and Marc Gasol because of injuries.
