That so few posts go down in this forum being it's an investment forum on a gambling website.  What an absolute surprise.

That's like having a cupcake stand next to a Jenny Craig center.  The two are like oil and water.  Now you can get all logical and high and mighty about it, and say "I invest my winnings in legitimate business."  Well you're the only one.

Everyone else is busy emptying their savings to give to some 2nd rate hustler overseas.  Or the weird local that always seems cained up and wants to have a drink.

The point I'm trying to make is, this seems completely ridiculous that the "investment forum" even exists.

Any hot stock tips go down?  Anyone make any dough off this joint?

I want to know, it might be a gold mine right underneath my nose.

Well the problem is people here arent looking to long term invest, that takes time, effort and some money..most want to gamble and talk sports.

buck is right, this forum here is the best as to real information that you can make money from using.

I dont claim to be an investing expert, far from it but there is great info here and those of us that post and hang around know it.

Well said.  I looked into investing 6 months ago.  Everything I have is liquid.  Needed something to put it in.  Met with this dude and he was telling me to buy CitiBank stock.  He seemed kind of desperate though, something made me not trust him.

Since then I've thought about buying gold bars but the price had shot up when I looked into it.  I know that game, they make you think the dollar will never come back so you buy a bunch of gold at a high price then it drops on you.  Kind of like gambling.

Everything else seems like a scam these days.  It's all about protecting your pocket and not letting stuff like addiction to material things and bad business deals run you dry.  Or women.

Investing is like betting futures.  Not many people on this site bet too many futures.

Also, it takes enough time to handicap sports.  Who has time to really handicap sports and the stock market, and then work a job on top of that?

Most sports bettors I know think the stock market is more rigged than sports.

Also, most people on this forum are broke college kids, and they have no money to invest in stocks.

I can see people thinking its  "fixed game" for sure but with investing you have a better shot if you do your homework...sports is always risky, one injury away from disaster or a bad call whatever..

Id rather invest my money than bet it on a bball game..i mean large sums anyway, dont get me wrong ill bet some here and there and my wagers increase if im rolling but i rarely go over $100...garbage last time in vegas my largest bet was only $250

Tradn is where its at and you dont need a ton of cash to get started.i trade stocks but i love tradn forex..24hr market any action junkies dream and a mini account can be started with as little as $300 i think, they may have increased it either way there are free practice account for stocks and forex and learning the charts is good for both
