Yeah, choke job. Sharapova didn't have a break point all match until Stosur served for the match and fell on her face.

Why bother taking the court when you work so hard to get to the position serving for the match to fall on your face? 1 more service game that you have been making look easy the entire match. I mean come on.

You can't be serious. If this match was magically time shifted a month later as the finals of this years French open people would be quick to appoint this match as one of the best finals in women's French open history.
Normally I agree with your tennis opinions but this time I respectably disagree.

u gotta be kidding me with sharapova in rg final normally shes a cow on ice on clay and u know that. if stosur's IQ wasn't below 10 she would actually be pretty good at tennis.btw i found that tournament pretty much pointless cuz the surface aint even close to a clay court since mona bartell was able to hit 62 winners against azarenka

I really think people are stretching their capping abilities on the wta. It's no longer the Serena or Venus era,,, its the "anyone can beat anyone" era. Sharapova is in the top range, as is Stosur, but only because the talent pool is extremely watered down and parity rules in women's tennis right now. Anyone who honestly hatorates on sharapova must be just sour grapes on losing a bet because over the past several years you'll be hard pressed to find a more consistent performer than sharapova, week in week out throughout the year when she's healthy.
Gone are the days where a woman could be called a clay court specialist. Sanchez vicario era is over long time ago. They just don't have enough big events on clay to make a strong debate here. Sharapova was 9-1 heads up vs Stosur, with many matches being one sided. Stosur has improved a lot over the past few years because of the overall mediocrity of the women's game in general. Just look at how an average talented schiavone was the flavour of the month for a while last two years. Best advice would be to avoid betting women all together unless it's a grand slam where things are more 'honest' and less 'fixed' with all the world watching etc...

I'm happy to agree to disagree
