#26 Posted: 5/9/2012 12:25:56 AM Can take the smiley road and go to work with a free lunch for two coupon and ask him if he likes Chilis or something.
If he says he doesn't like Chilis........ then come back with something nicer..... darn, go big.... tell him you got a gifr certificate to Ruth Chris and it expires in 24 hours or something.
You gotta shake your Manager of this retarded concept somehow. |

#28 Posted: 5/9/2012 12:31:41 AM Fried has been in "structured" situations before.......... but always found a way to work out EVERY day during lunch..... plus eat.
Fried's average lunch break was actually like 2.9 hours. And that is not an exaggeration.
Was that allowed?..... No...... Did I work out every day? Yes. Did they promote me every year? Yes.
Man up and eat what you want. And I'd also be working out too while at it.

#30 Posted: 5/10/2012 1:33:04 AM i don't see myself here for long, my training was going to be 2 weeks but he is stopping it after 3, tomorrow i will spend all day being cursed out by clients because i will look like an idiot..... 99% of this kind of business has my job as 2 jobs. i work my behind off and i don't mind that, no breaks eh IM cutting IM down to 212 again and i do take stuff in pocket, the manager is from hell, my whole interview he lied and lied tomorrow is just gonna be hell, the manager doesn't want to hire another person....
work in this town is nuts to find and IM waiting for DOC, i just need something to waste sometime, I started the paperwork in December. i don't mind hard work, but IM friggin up peoples finances, at this rate i will end up in court, my manager has been here for 14 years, the dude makes his bonus every month only because of people working around the clock... i work 7-3 so i guess IM going to have to try to visits places before 5pm
i cut up strawberries and put them in a bag of cervical, that lasts me tell 4pm, then i hit veggies and meat and a little bit of everything i make it to 1,200 cals. the job is killer so IM not working out, a girl move i know, but IM losing 1lb a day, i dont get to sit down tell im driving home

#34 Posted: 5/10/2012 9:14:28 PM Some cooked meats like bacon will sit at room temperature (in a ziploc or something) for hours and keep you away from the carbs but I'd darn with that Manager nonstop anyway.
What turnover ratio is he sporting? |

#35 Posted: 5/10/2012 9:16:37 PM Doesn't sound like a desk job and no eating between 7:00 and 3:00? Once a week maybe, but every day?
Are you supposed to eat a massive breakfast at 6:00 in the morning? |

#36 Posted: 5/10/2012 9:22:09 PM Hopefully not hitting a Burger King on the way home after 3:00 tho.
Need to figure something out. I'd eat a good breakfast, and have bacon, apples, and nuts everywhere tho. |

#37 Posted: 5/12/2012 1:35:06 PM he has 2 people that have been there 5 years, and 2 other people have been in tanning ever since, 1 reason is obviously because the job sucks, allot of people quit ( i did yesterday) but also he fires allot of people. i got hired threw an government job help agency, while im on probation they pick up half the tab for my wages, so my Boss (ex boss) only had to pay for half my pay. So not only is he a slave driver but he also gets it at slave wages. The most interesting thing about this, is that i want to go to the agency and girl and complain but he is a paid employee threw them part time, the guy teaches interview skills like 4 times a year for them.
from what it looks like he doesn't ever want people to get off probation because he would have to pay for our whole pay check

Sorry about the job ........ sounded like a waste of time anyway if the Manager won't even let you eat.
Would have much rather seen you drive him crazy for as long as possible tho. |

#43 Posted: 5/13/2012 2:35:37 PM And nothing wrong with getting fired........ if for the right reasons.
Not being able to eat qualifies as one of those reasons. |
