#1 Posted: 3/6/2012 9:06:00 PM I don't have lines yet, but I pretty much always get the same matchups as Pinny. Here's what I'm thinking so far on full tourney matches. Any thoughts?
Schwartzel o Donald Kaymer o Kuchar ? Stricker o Simpson ? Fowler o Day Senden o Poulter Hansen o Quiros
Davis o Vegas (2u) Green o R. Johnson Pampling o. Cabrera |

#4 Posted: 3/8/2012 5:06:58 AM I'm on P. Hanson over Oooozn for as much as I can,, both 1st rnd and full tourn. Don't like anything about Ooz right now...
If you don't mind my asking,, what makes you like Schwartz over Donald this week,, (you too AJ),, I really was thinking Donald makes a strong push to take back that #1 spot again,,, nobody seems to even consider that possibility, and that's when you often can find some value in the lines, just one angle I know, but I'd like to hear any thoughts on your read on this matchup...

#5 Posted: 3/8/2012 9:39:55 AM iceman67 - Quick thought on Schwartz over Donald...for me it's mainly about recent form. Donald has been falling back lately and seems out of it. Schwartz on the other hand is headed the other way and is in good form heading to Augusta in a few weeks. All the B.S. that goes along with being #1 has took a toll on Luke mentally and physically....IMO!
Didn't mean to interject myself into your thread Blair, but I had a second to throw out some thoughts on this for Iceman.

No Problem, AJ. That's pretty much what I would've said. Also, I expect this to be a low scoring tourney. I like Charl better in those. If I thought it were going to be a tourney where pars were at a premium, and scrambling was more important, that's when I'd lean more toward Donald. |

#7 Posted: 3/8/2012 7:02:55 PM Nice call, both of you on the Schwartz play... It actually kept me from going overboard on Donald,,, I just took him to win it @ 27ish to 1.
blairaj,, looks like you were just a couple of strokes from winning more than losing today @ Doral,, still in good shape for your full tourny plays though...
I had one of my bigger days of the season today playing against Oosthuizen,,, I had/have max bets against him today and for the full tourn. I'm pretty happy he's playing the way his coach predicted.
Best of luck to you going forward. |

#9 Posted: 3/8/2012 8:46:40 PM Doral Rd2: Fowler -130 o Goosen (1.5u) McIlroy -130 o Westwood Snedeker +120 o Bradley (1.5u) Kaymer-110 o Simpson
Pushed with Fowler today, I like him even more tomorrow and get a slightly better price.
Neither McIlroy or Westwood putted well today, based on history and comments Westwood has been making about this course, I'll bet Rory figures it out quicker than Lee.
Bradley owns Snedeker in Rd1 H2H over the last year, in Rd2 the opposite is true. |

McIlroy and Sneds both put on late surges, but too little too late |

Thanks markblaz. I've been hanging just below even for the year, hoping this is going to be the breakout weekend!

Happy BDAY,,
Well,,, I'm with you on McDowell and Wagner,,, I'd lean the other way Simpson/Johnson and no edge with any of the others IMO... I also think Rose has an better than 5 1/2 to 1 chance of winning this, so I'm on him to win now also...
Have a good one,, GL |

I have been for garbage in rd 4 the last 2 weeks. Glad to see though that the full tourney is starting to come around, as that as where as I have always been at my strongest. Now, if I can just be smart enough to learn to be betting stronger on the tourney plays and let the fan in me go, especially in the last round. |
