I have mentioned this in the past that for some reason my Dolphins cannot beat the Texans everytime they play...we got close once only for a last second qb draw by the Texans to win the game.

I think the Texans have just as much weapons on offense as the Pats do so if the Dolphins defense don't get their act together then the Texans offense will have a field day just like the Pats did.

The Dolphins just released CB Benny Sapp today as he got burned just as many times as the other CB's did so I'm not sure if we shouldn't just release all of our CB's lol...We have yet to pick up another CB but I'm thinking we pick back up Will Allen who we released just before the regular season started.

On the bright side our offense looked promising just need to see if it gets consistent..

Over the total could be a play here unless the defense wakes up and plays like the top 5 defense that they were projected to be.

Who knows with my Dolphins...the least of our concerns to start the season was our defense now it's our biggest

Ya i took the dolphins as my defense in fantasy , I hope cam wake and company show up this week and at least keep the game close they need to get to Schaub i think if they can contain the run game they have a shot but the texans look like a team on a mission as i expected them to be and the dolphins just don't have the offense to beat this team Henne played out of his mind on monday but i think comes back to reality that he's just an average Qb at best... texans -3

Well as expected we re-signed cb Will Allen. He hasn't played since 2010 due to injury so I'm not sure what to expect.

The Dolphins defense looked exhausted...The Miami humidity was supposed to favor the Fins but it back fired on them and played in favor of the Pats.

Reggie Bush is not built to take such a large workload and I was surprised not to see them use Larry Johnson for at least a few plays. I think Daniel Thomas returned to paractice today along with Clay so that could be a positive sign.

On the bright side for the Texans looks like Arian Foster practiced today which makes it worse for my Dolphins defense if they don't step it up.

My Dolphins have sucked for many seasons now I'm used to it ...If Henne has a game like he did against the Pats and our defense gets back on the right track we might just have a slim chance against the Texans...but I try not to get my hopes up.

When your leading rusher is your QB, and your QB is Chad Henne - you know you've got problems. Reggie Bush may have saved New Orleans, but unfortunately Miami won't reap the same benefits.

Thanks to the Patriots exposing every one of Miami's faults, Houston doesn't even have to watch any game tape this week.....

The only thing that scares me is that the line is only 3? Something's up, so I'll get the Texans at 2.5

dont overthink this game.  miami is a mess right now on their O line and they are trying to rebuild their run game with a rookie RB and FB, who are both just returning from injury.  cameron wake has slowed down on his pass rush since week 15 last season.  the fins starting D registered 0 sacks in the first meaningfull 3 preseason games vs opposing starting QB's.  you think the preseason means nothing?  did you see tom brady stand in place with no pass rush come his way last monday?  reggie girl is a cancer to any offense because he thinks he can still run everydown, between the tackles.  he has believed this since 2006 and has done NOTHING, what a fuckin joke!  and the fins wanted a new QB to get this mess called henne out.  the problem was that no QB was available in the offseason.     TEXANS ROLL!!!!!!

The biggest thing i noticed in the monday night game was the dolphin D. was gassed late in the 1ST Q.

Houston has a more balanced offence than NE and with that 2 headed monster running the ball and wearing them down even faster than NE did, along with shaubs ability to light up that dolphin secondary, almost as good as brady did, MIAMI may have to score well into the 30s to cover.

NE put good pressure on henne and you have to give him credit for a career performance but HOUSTON has a better pass rush and henne will not duplicate his monday night perfomance vs that pass rush.

Dolphins D. let brady play pitch and catch, due to an almost 0 pass rush and now they are playing a HOUSTON O. just as dangerous, with the MIAMI D. players not as fresh as they were, less than 6 days ago.GOOD LUCK MIAMI D.

HOUSTON 38
MIAMI 21

hey bigdaddy, enjoy your posts. for your sake, i hate saying this, but in no circumstance can i see my texans losing here. the offense is just as good as the pats with or without foster (ben tate is almost identical to foster) and our defense is much better than the pats. the defense has done a complete 180 from last year with the change to the 3-4 and it has rejuvenated all our guys. i am indeed a texans homer, but imo it has only helped me realize more quickly than others that the texans are a force this year offensively and defensively. TEXANS -3 all day long!

The only thing is shouldnt this line be a little higher, like -6 but still Texans are better, but that is basing it on beating a preseason like effort from the colts who are done son!. Hou for the undecided!

i'd like to reiterate one more time, the texans actually have a defense this year! and a pretty darn good one!
