#127 Posted: 10/7/2012 6:52:53 PM I do not want anyone to bow to anyone wall, That is the point. Government involvement is not voluntary. It is a mandate through force of law, coercion and imprisonment. People should have the right to enter into contracts of their own free will, and not be threatened by overreaching bureaucratic government. I do not think my ideas are extreme, and I am not going to retort by saying that the dichotomy that you exhibit when you decry the corporations, but buoy the governments that facilitate their corruption is a bit neurotic to say the least. You know, because you are my elder and can ban me for name calling.
You are quite the cynic to think that we can not have a freer, and more transparent marketplace. If that is truly your belief than you are right, we should probably give up all of our personal freedoms, give the government 100% reign over our lives, and livelihoods and hope that the chains of tyranny sit light on our necks.
I think the solution is to punish corporate cronies, to actually attempt to fix markets, to break the bond between govt. and corporations, and to increase transparency.
I think we actually agree more than we disagree. |
