But you seem to insist that we should have the out-of-pocket model that 3rd world nations like Africa, rural parts of India, and south America have.*****

Been a long day...

his suggestion was to move to a 3rd world country.... plain and simple... no Spin, no BS... just move...

then.... he asked you to name one first world nation that doesnt have some kind of universal health care....

you didnt/couldnt...

The rest is your typical blabbering on about talking points

----------------------------------------------------

Please show me where I said I didn't understand his suggestion? I merely said it was stupid and it is.

Countries that have public health care generally have higher taxes to pay for it and don't structure it in a form of forced commerce.

Well you don't have your right and if you look around you (the world) nearly every single progressive industrialized nation has some kind of universal care whether it be part of a Bismark model, national health insurance model, or Beveridge.

But then again you probably no 0 about the various health care models that use utilized around the globe.

Google it..... You're obviously not very informed.

But you seem to insist that we should have the out-of-pocket model that nearly the entire world aside from AFrica, rural parts of india, and south America have.

Like I said before if you don't want to pay into a system that clearly works in other parts of the world... THEN MOVE!!!!!

Because that's tough garbage, bowlfuck...

--------------------------------------------------------------

I like how you choose to put words in my mouth to help further your lame arguement.

There are better ways to deal with the health care system without forcing people to purchase insurance.

I would prefer to just have a higher tax bill then to be forced to purchase a high deductible plan that will cost me $300 bones/ month and likely never give me any benefit because I don't have $5000 per year of health problems.

Why not offer a plan that spreads the uninsured accross the doctor pools in a limited fashion that lets the doctors write off the expense for treatment and charges the uninsured a modest/ affordable fee? If you limit the number of patients that one particular doctor can write off AND aggressively deal with TORT reform and eliminate bogus lawsuits, allowing the doctors to save mucho dinero on malpractice insurance you will make a huge dent in the problem.

Problem is, you either can't think for yourself or you choose not to. That causes mindless drones like darryl to co sponser your namecalling threads and ultimately get exposed for such, leading to WSC getting further exposed for not doing anything about your tactics.

Bottom line is there are better ways to deal with the health care system than whats currently being forced down our throats.

if you are a rightwing women, or a rightwing male married to a woman, or with a mother, daughter or other relative who's a woman or just like women in general, and you or she gets these medical benefits now for free under

Er, there is no "free" in Obamacare or anything related to Obamacare.

Every single bit of this monstrosity has a cost.

You do understand that when the government mandates something that health insurance premiums are going to increase, right?

in my quest to understand it and why people, most of whom know nothing about it, hate it so much.

============================

I would suggest that you don't know much about the legislation.

So let me help

1. From the New York Times: Doctor Shortage Likely to Worsen With Health Law

2. Business owners will pay $4 billion more in taxes under President Obama’s Affordable Care Act (ACA)  than the Congressional Budget Office had previously expected.

Also noteCBO and JCT now estimate that the ACA, in comparison with prior law before the enactment of the ACA, will reduce the number of nonelderly people without health insurance coverage by 14 million in 2014 and by 29 million or 30 million in the latter part of the coming decade, leaving 30 million nonelderly residents uninsured by the end of the period (see Table 3, at the end of this report). Before the Supreme Court’s decision, the latter number had been 27 million.

So there are going to be 30 million uninsured people in 2022.

And, CBO also said: Between 4 million and 6 million fewer people are estimated to have coverage through an employer

Which is already happening as employers are dropping health care plans left & right.

im with you CD... I want to know more about it

Oh really?

Because there is no evidence, anywhere at all, that "preventative care" lowers costs.
