sometimes this garbage works ha.  recency, late speed, pattern, speed/pace/stamina/class/distance/surface, J/T combo, breeding (if applicable).

when you watch the race again you can see he could sit where he wanted to sit and be comfortable.  he didn't have to go all hands on deck to keep up

no knock against CC.  he ran very, very well also.

passing NYRA race 10.  older fellas in a G1 i will have plenty of enjoyment just watching.

would have been willing to stab at the straight 1 at 9/2 or higher.

didn't plan on playing it but passing NYRA race 11.  field of 14 10000B (read the conditions) claimers all scrapping for 6F sheesh.  yikes!  not for me.

3 was interesting with the pattern as an up and comer but look in the form it was a big jump in class.  the 7 was one of those ole reliable warriors has run on all surfaces and he fires about 60% of the time and has the speed/pace/stamina to get it done.  raffy/eurton (ha raffy has made Eurton a comfortable man!).  at 9/5ish i took it.  got bet down

well, watching that Ill Derby on TV visually speaking I would not play any of those horses at Louisville in a few weeks.  that was very ugly a bunch of horses staggering home.

arcadia 2nd.  the boys hit her late to 5/2.

that chalk won easily.  Sadler has himself a G1 caliber filly

ran 2nd to the best horse.  best horse by far.  could have laid the chalk oh well.  these big days they don't give it away for nothing fellas.

that 1 horse for Sadler should go straight into a G1.  she's legit.  sitting behind all the others and exploding home like that through a hole at The Great Race Place in a G2.  onwards and upwards.

Santa Anita Park 4/9 (two 2nds)

Keeneland 0/4

Aqueduct 2/5 (one 2nd)

turfy gals at SA chalkies smoked me late.  modest profits today.  catch you guys for the big day in Louisville in early May.  trust me I know the fields will be much, much, much tougher on that day in terms of size and maybe quality.  you don't need to tell me that.

maybe I get pulled in by Keeneland next Saturday but we'll see.  best of luck to all.

Closing day @ GP tomorrow & I told the boss the Easter Bunny has a big surprise for her there tomorrow. She ain't buying it...

Glad I had the Nationals vs Cubs or I would have totally crapped the bed today. Need the Yanks/Rays game over 7.5 to squeak out a little win today. CU soon brother..

Enjoy your Easter Holiday Mids.  always great to see you brother.

gotta run heading to Godmother's for Eastah Dinnah and then the C's later watching it with the boys.

Juat noticed a 94 beyer for the SA Derby and 98 for the Wood.  Soft, soft, soft figs.  this whole thing is gonna be one big mess.  Visually I thought the Wood and SA Derby were impressive but the figs are what they are.

Longing for the days of Curlin and Ghostzapper . . . . . . . . .

Happy Easter fellas!
