TULSA +18 ( 2 units ) How do you cap a spread like this ? The way I approach is simple !! Mercy angle. On paper the Lynx are probably 25 points better than Tulsa but you have to factor in a letdown scenario in which Minnesota is coming off a 29 point win. The Lynx have have had several double digit wins this season followed by a single digit win or a lesser margin of victory in their next game. A perfect example is right before the Olympic break. July 10th they beat Tulsa by 25 on the road to be followed by a 15 point win against the same Tulsa team at home two day's later. By the way they failed to cover as a 17.5 point favorite. The Shock might have the worst record in the league but their PF/PA differential is -6.4 which is better than NY -7.4 , WASH -7.7 and PHO -10.6. So in theory Tulsa is the right play here. The shock have much more depth than they did last year at this time and I'm confident they can stay within 18.

#7 Posted: 8/19/2012 2:07:46 PM Hey Dimes,
Can you let me know your source that Taurasi is not playing today? Been looking everywhere and I can't find any news regarding her status for today's game.
Thanks |

Lol, I don't know how they can list her hip as an issue as she was the leading scorer on the US Women's team the past 3 weeks! |

#13 Posted: 8/19/2012 6:35:47 PM I think this is a horrible pic ( not trying to offend to each their own)
this line is set for a reason 44-dimes. Lynx arent messing around, theyre not playing close game with teams they should be blowing out, theyre just blowing them out... They want to get to the 4th and rest their players... They got Sea on deck, so lets be up 40 going into 4th and rest our players.... Tulsa has no reason to suit up for this game , unless they shoot 90% then theyll win or stay close, this will be a 10-15 pt game end of 1st and just continue to get pounded |

#16 Posted: 8/20/2012 10:19:17 AM Its amazing how much money Tulsa often carries on a game by game basis. Usually well backed. Despite being one of the worst teams in US pro sports. Granted WNBA has a very low turnover though.
Hope you turn it around 55dimes |
