We have made it to the part of the season where Saban is concentrating enough to win games but using he coaching experience to also know the future holds the prize to where his intentions or to finish the season. In the way is Ole Miss, and Tennessee before the bye and then comes LSU.

Saban is the kind of person who builds hate for teams and some coaches, he has always had it in for Miles, and Auburn since returning to college football at Alabama and at one time Myers was on his list, and he put him to rest sorter speak...whether Myers wants to admit it or not.

People can talk bad about Houston Nutt all they want to, but the man knows football and when playing Alabama most times he keeps it interesting. Alabama wins but look for Saban to look ahead and keep his starters healthy for the next couple of weeks before the bye and then LSU walks into his den.

If he fails beating LSU his heart, soul, and pride will be dismantled until next year, he will not push his starters to the brink of injury before the LSU game, as much as i would like to say Alabama could crush Ole Miss till a brown stain develops threw their uniform's as if they garbage on themselves i will not.

I'm not on that side of the fence this week....think about it. Saban could careless about dressing up the polls, he sitting where he wants his team to be and once he beats LSU. Then he is on cruise control to the SEC Championship game, and a spot in the National Championship game.

This game will be played off his vest to keep the starters injury free as much as possible.

#4 things will happen for Saban this year.
> He will set a record at having the best defense college football has ever seen.
> Alabama had a statue of him put on campus.
> Three National Championships rings coaching college football.
> Bringing Alabama their 14th National Championship Title.

Alabama 26
Ole Miss 9

Ole Miss + 27.5

I don't agree with you...I don't buy it...

and even if you are correct and Sir Gentleman Saban does pull his starters, the backups will continue to score...with 13 undefeated teams and potentially 5 at the end of the season, Saban will take nothing for chance...

yes, once Bama is up by 35, he may pull his starters, but with a few key starters missing, and a crowd that should quickly be taken out of the game, Saban is not going to go into the 1st BCS Ranking week with anything less than solid win v. the expectations bar, or the spread.

LonghornHoosier,

Its fine to disagree, i don't have a crystal ball thats for sure. It's just my opinion and i may eat crow on it, but i also will move on to next weeks game with another opinion about Alabama vs Tenn.

I have never put the game final in any post i have done, and don't expect it to turn out exactly or i could be rich guessing games totals. What i do expect is around the game total to back up Ole Miss will cover but will not win.

One thing about Houston Nutt is i been watching him coach against Alabama from Arkansas to Ole Miss for many, years and just because he has a losing record expect his best.

I'm pointing out the fact, Saban knows without, Upshaw, Barron, Hightower, Richardson...etc & even AJ McCarron LSU will stomp a mud hole in his behind and walk it dry.

He will not see this chance next year because he will lose so many players off his defense / offense to the NFL draft, 2011 is his best shot. Then he will re-build...

It's there for the taking for Alabama & Nick Saban, and we all can bet or house it sets in his head like a ticking time bomb to the point he gets headaches and sleepless nights.

Four goals beat LSU, beat Auburn and win the SEC Championship game, along with the National Championship game.

That makes for allot of bonus $$$$$, and pride.

He has debt, but them goals can't get done unless he has his starters. Its to close to lose making mistakes.

Good luck on either way you pick this game.

A win is a win, Saban don't care about running the score up, until he gets in his four goals.

Houston Nutt will bring his play book to beat a No 2 team, it could save his job...etc.

Roll-Tide

I took Bama to score more than 35 points. I like this angle more than the 27.5 point spread.  everybody

Congrats to the Alabama backers, man was i ever off.

Saban was shifting players from the third and 4th string after the 1st TD in the 3rd QT, and Ole Miss could not keep up.

I'm eating crow, right now just figured i would man up.
